That was one of the first things I did when Google Earth came out. And various bases/nuke facilities in NV. And Edwards.

We move a lot of animals. Horses, whales, pandas, tigers, sea lions ect. Last week my animal experience involved chasing a rooster that had busted out of his poor customer packaging. Those things can be a challange.

I know the feeling, like I say I know guys that work on the program and probably know some of the same things going on but being a Boeing employee I signed a lot of papers saying I wouldn't talk about current internal situations outside the company and it's not worth risking a job over for sure.

I've spent more than a few hours staring at the satellite maps there.

Had a solo flight in the CJ1 the other night and came out of the clouds over the Pacific Ocean as a storm was about to roll in. It was a pretty cool.

Left engine off ... Rt rudder pedal stomped on... Yoke cranked to the right

I would love to find the video on this to see how that guy climbed down to hold on to the left prop

I'm guessing they all jumped off safely

Edit: couldn't find a video but I did find this picture

That's pretty awesome. Sky divers are like surfer dudes mixed with a sober crack head. They always think of some strange way to potentially die or live through it long enough to show off their crazy video.

Two great looking aircraft. IMO, the staggerwing is right up there with the Constellation.

@Pistol Pete  I passed you on my way to Stillwater for dinner tonight! Went for a stroll through the OSU campus. Boy does it look pretty in the spring time

Quote from a friend of mine ...

End of an era. The last T-34C flight training sortie at NAS Whiting Field taxis through the ceremonial crossed streams. The first T-34C arrived at Whiting in 1975. Best money NAVAIR ever spent, this side of the SBD and F14.
