818/626 is pretty ghetto and not much to do IMO. My cousin lived in Temple City/El Monte forever. Come on over to AZ just not the driving habits. ;)

I remember the first year I was allowed to stay up and help my dad with the Turkey. Smoked it on a Weber all night.

My grandparents lived in El Monte for about 50 years, one of those bought a tiny house for 20k and sold it about 10 years ago for about 500k 3 bed 1 bath, detached garage, house prices are redic there. That house in Phoenix would go for 120k tops.

That sounds like too much work to me.

With me it's soak it in brine for 24hrs. Take it out the next morning and put it on the grill. Easy peasy!

I lived in Pasadena and loved it. The San Gabriel's are pretty amazing for being so close to downtown LA

I had helped my dad a couple of times. I stepped up to the plate and said I would make it after he passed away. Falls off the bones every year.

Tires can be touch and go out here. You either get durability or light weight, but seldom get both.

All my bikes are 27.5 so unfortunately I don't think I have anything to sell but I'll take a look when I get back. That said, on my trail bike I run dual compound maxxis minion dhf tubeless folding bead on the front and dual compound maxxis minion dhr2 tubeless folding bead on the back. Kind of a happy medium of great traction, decent longevity and somewhat light weight. 70 bucks a tire though.

On my dh bike, same combo but both are dual ply, wire bead dh casings.

Schwably makes a great tire, but not too cheap. Though those are really the only two brands I'd run.

Also ran a maxxis tomahawk on the back of my trail bike for a bit, but the tread wore out way too fast. Great cornering tire with low rolling resistance though.

Rage cycles in Scottsdale has a huge trie selection in stock though, so they'll have plenty to choose from

Also, Onza tires is a company that's been getting a lot of great reviews on their tires. Only issue is limited selection right now, but with the fastest dh racer in the world now riding for them, expect to see a lot more from them.

So the wife is gone. I'm thinking of making something real good for dinner. That smoked meat is sounding real good right now but all I have is doritos and oatmeal.. Does anyone know of a recipe involving those two?

Oh good, I thought it was abnormal for me to be half a bottle of moonshine deep sitting naked in the living room.

Nope, right on par for this group.

You should be passed out covered in your own filth by 10pm.

You think it's possible my CO2 tank is empty already? I've filled 10 35 by 12.50 tires from 12 psi to 35 psi. Tried to fill tire number 3 today and got nothing. Tried #4 and got nothing as well. Had to use the old air compressor.
