Waiting game is over . So happy right now . Ordered this bad boy back in November. Definitely worth the wait .

I ordered QS too, I love that color. Did your dealer swap out your OEM wheels for TRD rims?

 

Now I'm playing. Got a build date of 05/02. Hopefully it's true!

 

Picked it up today. And it was in doubt at one point, the dealership wanted to reneg the trade at the last minute due to takata airbag recall that my bmw was under (I was notified of the recall after the deposit on the truck). The market for my trade plummeted, and they don't have a fix for the airbag until "sometime after summer of 2016." And from what I understand, if a dealer sells the car with the recall open, the dealer then assumes any liability for damages (as opposed to the manufacturer). The dealer suspects my car will sit on a lot for months, and the wholesale bids he got (which he showed me) were incredibly low. After I walked out the first time, and some back and forth in the following days, I took delivery this morning. I had to put up another $1k, but I got the tacoma at his dealer cost (not including holdback) and the dealer is assuming some risk on the trade. I can't say I'm delighted with the deal, but I was more than ready to unload that BMW lemon and I really like the truck.

 

My wait is finally over after 4 weeks. I picked up my Taco today! I'm thrilled that the were able to swap with another dealership.
My TRD 4x4 Off-Road with the Tow Package and Premium Tech Package. I can't wait to take it off roading.

 

I picked mine up yesterday. Ordered Feb 28 with build and delivery right at what dealer said. Loving the ride. It is worth the wait!

 

The excitement builds... my build date was 4/21. I stopped by the dealer today and checked for updates on the pipeline details..
expected delivery to the dealer is... 4/24 - 4/26! I should have my new truck this week. such good news this waits been killing me.

 

Picked mine up Thursday night (I was put on allocation list February 13th), dropped off the loan check last night. Liking everything so far.
Swapped out the chrome bumper & put in led license bulbs. Hoping to drive it up to Sedona tomorrow.

 

I checked mine today and its at the rail yard! Shipment to dealer 4/25. Going to be stalking that storage lot for the next 48 hours. Once it gets off the train no other tracking info is available until it actually arrives at the dealer.
Beyond excited to be living the Taco life soon. I will post up pictures pre and post PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection)

Just picked mine up today! It is definitely worth the wait.

The dealer had it displayed in the front display area with it locked and marked as sold. While I was there, other sales guys stopped by my sales guy asking if the truck was available for sale. I made sure to tell them off that the truck was mine.

Had the dealer check & top off ATF / Diff fluid, u-bolts torqued to 70ft-lbs, grease the zerks, and they gave me a service report on it before I even got there. They also filled the gas tank full!



It also looked like the dealer got a shipment of ~10 Tacomas along with mine 2 days ago.

Got mine from sterling mcall also, good peeps. I still checked my zerks, atf and u bolts after I told them to.

Don't trust dealer PDIs is all I'll say.

I guess I missed out on that luck! Put in an order with Freeman mid-Feburary, build date was last Wednesday, and now I'm just waiting for delivery. Did you have them check fluid levels, u-bolts, etc before pickup?

 

Finally got my BBP sport with manual tranny in the DFW area. Love it so far!

 

Should be getting close! No. I did not have them do that. I'll make sure at 5,000 miles. So far, so good.

 

Yeah good peeps. At least I have a paper trail saying they did, if something goes wrong. So far my tyranny isn't hunting for gears at all. It knows what gear it wants to be in at any speed

 

Mine did the same, still checked. Still low half a quart.
