Educate me on this blackener you speak of and the process. You put the duplicolor carbon black with a tire blackener?

Yes, it's just the simple spray like many others out there to make a tire shine, I posted a picture of what I use to blacken my tires. Seems to work very well and be friendly with the plastic up

Definitely need a lift. I will be ordering the OME lift kit soon on the group buy. Still undecided what package to go with, stock or heavy. Just want around 2-2.5 lift and want it leveled in front and back. Hearing that I should go with stock with 885, trim packer for the lean or heavy with 886s and trim packer. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to be making some extra TDY money in a few weeks, does anyone know of some good sliders for about $700-$800?

After a few hours it's still setting and will flow very slowly with gravity, I reinstalled mine after about 12 hours of drying time indoors.

You can reinstall the stock grill without the bezel around it, that's what I did while putting together the new grill.

Yes, the dupliocolor was just used on the rims. Then I used armorall/tire shine over both the rims and tires. Looks really good together , That way they'll either shiny together or after rains their dull together ,

Its like funny you bring this up... When ever I get out of my car in parking lots I look at everyone and try to see if anyone notices, and no one even looks. You have to remember that most people are Sheeple and have absolutely zero situational awareness. Even a couple of times I have been standing outside my truck with friends/family/ other gun nuts with the door wide open to try to get them to notice and comment and they are just as blind! Its much similar to loosing your wallet and you look everywhere for it, and when you find it it was right out in the open even though you walked past it 10 times. Unless your really looking for something your brain tunes out almost everything not related to the current task at hand.

So essentially I could just try the tire shine on the grill and see if it darkens it? That's what it sounds like.

You don't have to say that. We all know you used a makeup mirror! LOL Hey Doug, have you noticed any wheel travel limits with those Sumos yet and are they pretty stiff?

What did I do to my Tacoma today. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why the front passenger suspension is creaking like a 1972 truck with bad control arm bushings. I am beginning to think I should shelf my search for rims and tires and get on the list for a new Ford Ranger that is coming out. I first thought my u-bolts had worked loose but my noise is up front. Anyone here seen or dealt with this issue.

For that price range you almost have your choice. Mobtown, BAMF are popular and both look good

Don't mind the dirty truck but pulled the vinyl between the windows this morning. One side didn't match up and the OCD finally got to me haha.

I've been meaning to say this for a while...
The stock off road wheels are baddass. I keep trying to find something that looks better but I can't. This is my opinion of course.
Those KO2s look great on the stockers!
There's something about all these Fuel wheels and some others that look cheap and juvenile. The TRD pro wheels are decent but I know 6,875,549 people who have them and they look better on the 4Runner.
Not bashing anyone, just a shout out to those with the stock wheels.
I think sometimes we are programmed to think stock wheels are lame so we shell out 2g+ for a new wheel/tire combo. I'm guilty of it myself but at the moment, I'm really liking the stock wheels. Those KO2s and a small lift does WAY more for the look, IMO.
Have a nice weekend and let's mow those yards and get some paint on those houses. :D:humble:
(that was a joke for "gettin lost"... Loved your post, BTW)
