I'd like to put these lights in my ARE cap on my DCSB. Your "camper" photo shows one strip over the sliding window and one along each side. What are the actual lengths involved and what is the price of the kit with switch? Than you very much . . .

I can custom make the kit to whatever lengths that you prefer or the regular short bed kit will fit nicely. (3) 45" strips. I sent you a PM, check the top of your screen on the right side: click on "inbox".

Would it be possible to wire the lights to the 110volt output in the bed and have the button inside the cab turn it on and off? We wouldn't need to run power all the way back to the front and the button would already be there. Its not like I ever use that outlet anyways!

Unfortunately no. The LEDs are 12 volt and the 110v outlet would fry them in a Flash.

I can make a cabin switched kit, running the one power wire is not that tough

@mattgecko, just wanted to let you know...I was successful in installing and hooking up the bed lights and hood lights! :woot: And this was my first time EVER doing any type of electrical work on my truck.

    Two things, though:
    1. My taco is an SR5 (not TRD) so I had to route the power line of the bed lights along the bottom of the driver's side instead of the passenger side. All the cables from the tail lights were routed the same way and I followed the path.
    2. It would have been beneficial to incorporate the hood light installation instructions into the bed light installation instructions to avoid having to cut the wires and re-crimp the power lines in the fuse box.

Nonetheless, they look great! :D Thanks, again, Matt! :fistbump:

(I would post pictures, but they pretty much look exactly the same as the ones you have on your first post.)

I have a 15 TRD Sport 2wd short bed. I’d like to buy your LED BED LIGHT KIT (single color) Cool White LED, and Hood Light Kit (single color) Cool White LED if possible.

I've ordered and installed a set of bed lights and hood lights kits for my 2015 TRD Sport from Matt. First off let me tell you he is great guy all around all questions were answered in a timely fashion, shipping was very quick, and when the kits arrived I was blown away with the time he must puts in to packaging these products. Everything was clearly labeled, neatly packaged and everything was safely wrapped incase the postal worker decided to take out his or her bad day on your package.

When it comes to installing his kits the directions are dummy proof. Every step was broken down with very clear pictures just in case words are not your thing. Altho I have a 5 years of aviation maintenance and electrical troubleshooting, for someone that doesn't have any type of mechanical ability or electrical knowledge these kits are a very good way to get your feet wet.

Well worth his asking price. They look fantastic, and everything works perfectly! :headbang: Thanks again Matt!

This looks like an great kit.

I'll send you a PM. I'm interested in the warm white bed lights for the 6' bed, and hood lights. Having trouble finding information about a few things in this long thread.

Sounds like there's at least an option for a switch in the cab for the bed lights.
    Are the hood lights switched?
Multicolored option is not clear to me. Can you select a color? Is this done from a remote or a switch somewhere?

If there's a specific post/thread that has details about his please forgive me for missing it.
