I'd only use SuperLube if you have polyurethane bushings. Any kind of dino grease will make poly bushings squeak.

    Thanks brotha

Are we talking about the bushings? I was talking about the ball joint itself.

The ball joint that I have on my Camburg UCA's is called a uni ball. Is that what you have? Or is yours more like a stock ball joint? I use a dry PTFE lubricant that you can get from a bicycle shop. That is what Camburg suggests for the uni ball. It keeps it clean & lubricated and doesn't attract any contaminants because it dries on contact.

I didn't know they made stock UCA's that are greasable. I thought that boot between the ball joint and spindle was sealed?

Still trying to wire up the dependent backlight for my switch panel. Where the heck can I tap into the dash lights circuit? I got a fuse tap for the "gauges" spot under the dash, but I'm not a fan of fuse taps in general, and haven't installed it yet.

Someone said to use the harness under the center console meant for the auto Trans, as it had the dash light connection for the shift indicator. Well, mine is old and a 5spd, so no working under the console.

Some replacement ball joints add a zerk fitting. The Oem ones don't, but can't be pressed out.

Nice! My OEM one's had that boot just not a zirk fitting below it. They were completely sealed. I still have my stock UCA's just sitting around.
