    Honestly, I think it has more to do with the crap in the housing than the bulbs. I'm not going to worry too much about it until a bulb blows. Thanks, though. :thumbsup:

    I have had the big money lightbar I have had the cheap ones to I can buy 10 cheap 42 in bars for the price of one rigid its all the same shit u put a 1500 dollar light bar on ur truck and it will probley go missing anyways just like that yeti CooLer u leave in ur truck my coleman does the same thing holds ice for 5 days

    Rigids definitely produce more light and are probably more durable. No argument there. It's just the fact that I could replace my cheap light bar once a year for 10 years before I spent as much as the Rigid equivalent costs for just one that makes a pretty compelling case for folks on a budget to go with the cheap stuff. If the cheap light bars were useless, it'd be one thing, but even the guy in that video admitted they produced a usable light.

    What it boils down to is: if you have more money than you know what to do with, go with Rigid. If you need to get the most bang for you buck you can, go with the cheap light bars. :D

    There are many levels of cheap light bars as well as cheap everything that has been R&D'd (Ripped off & Developed) by China. The main difference I have found is the lack of a built in driver board and subsequent tons of amps being pulled by a light bar or LED array. For example: I bought a 20" light bar by SHANREN off Amazon advertised at 13000 lumens, the little bastard pulls 10amps at 12vdc and has no driver circuitry at all. So, we build our own boards in house, we'll build a 24v driver board so its only a 6amp pull and the lights will last forever. I run all the LEDs at 24v because its less amps and they run cooler. Haven't had any other than the cheapo bulb replacements burn up thus far and thats because they have no driver circuitry. At most a resistor to limit voltage or a diode to prevent over voltage. Either way it isn't enough and they burn out....not the LED itself.

    My reason for posting the video is that to show not all light bars are the same. I agree I can afford the cheaper one. But I'm not going to get the output of a ridged as others think that they do.

    Stayed in Town and whether walking around or driving to "Pinky's" ( hidden jewel y'all kept to yourselves) for breakfast:yes: Taco's were everywhere.....even the dam motel parking garage :p.....
