Its a quiet one, just got one the other day but honestly don't really know what I'll use it for yet. Most of the camping I've done I've never had power.

So I've been thinking about showing up early in the week to claim a campground for the East Coasters that mob across the country to play with us in Moab, which got me thinking about planting a flag so that all you shitsippers would know to whom the encampment belonged...

and long story short now I'm thinking about flag games:devil:

I've done this with people working festivals before. Each team has their own flag and there's a behind the scenes capture the flag game going on during the whole event. It's good for morale and who doesn't like bragging rights?:headbang:

If you like the idea, figure out what camp you're in and what flag shall represent your team of 10 to 20!:hattip:

++Bonus points if you make your own!++

Hmmmmm, well the AZ-BS crew has been discussing patches that fit the "atmosphere" of us.

    @snowtank @Milota95 @Moose1988 @iJonny @4Running Daily

I can't remember who's doing Moab and/or involved in the "design team"

Patches that fit the "atmosphere" created by a bunch of AZ guys camping in close proximity? I didn't realize there were scratch n sniff patches!

I'd be down to steal a flag with a big sun on it... my camp will have to have an Ohio flag, a Cali flag, and what the hell a St Andrew's Cross couldn't hurt!:stirthepot:

Good News! I might be able to make it out for a day or two:fingerscrossed:. I would have to leave friday after work, sleep somewhere nearby, and then wake up early to roll in right around time for breakfast. I would leave sunday night. Really hoping I can pull it off and meet a few of you guys.

    on this note...

we do request the camping spots before the ravine and immediately after stay vacant for organizers and sponsors. see the map below, the black circle. red circle is typically where we put the toilets. green circle by the entrance where the dumpsters usually are.
    AreaBFE Sponsor.jpg

if you setup early and are in these locations, you will be asked to move...

    also a couple other notes...

DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS/PLANTS
DO NOT PARK IN THE TREE LINE

we will make rounds while we're out there to make sure everyone is in a good position. we need to respect this land as it is not ours and need to keep this area open for years to come.

we will try to get some organizers there as soon as we can during the week to assist you in finding a proper camping spots if you are unsure.

for reference this is one of the areas we need vacant for us...it is at the bottom of the hill before you climb out of the little ravine to the lower lot.

here's a video on how to get to Area BFE and take note at 0:56 to 1:00 this area will be utilized by organizers and sponsors...the area to the right at 1:00 will also be used...that is the black circle on the map above. the main camping will be straight ahead, all the way to the trees at 1:00 all the way to 1:15 is all valid camping...as you get closer to that back hill, do not drive on trees, shrubs, grass, anything living..
