I believe it's reg chrome. I took mine out and dipped the rest. I wanted the emblem to stand out and I left the outer ring chrome to go with the head lights. Touches of chrome is fine with me.

    None.. Yet....

That said, I was looking in to doing that myself. How long was the install time? Did you need to drill into the truck or was there an already preexisting hole you used to secure the struts to the hood and frame?

Do I dare ask how much of a pain in the butt it was to install the covers? Is it hard to remove the seat from the truck?

Loaded up 21 chairs and 3 6ft tables with ease. 5ft bed was big enough for this job. I know boring.

It really wasn't bad. It fits tight so ya'gotta kinda wrassle it, but that gives you a tight fit. The seat comes right out: two little covers, four bolts, and three electric connectors. Seat removal makes installation much easier. An easy 1.5 hours for the one seat.

A bad day? No, I'm having an excellent day, thanks. Scored a free trailer this morning, did some shooting, bows and guns, played with the kids, ate fish i caught, okra and cheese grits, and got a couple movies to relax and watch now... No issues here... I wish you the same brother!

You're right - most of the time. But, kids are curious and tend to notice stuff like that more than adults. And they're prone to announce it to the world immediately. It really depends a lot on where you live and where you park your vehicle. It may not ever come up, but in the wrong place, at the wrong time ... All it takes is once to cause you problems.

Ordered a new grill from @customcargrills . installed black letters for the tailgate. Installed rear diff breather line. And all the other nickel and dime mods. Also got the TRD emblem for the grill and I think the grill looks badass now.
