House sounds good, just depends what the money situation is. Camping is fine too.

I'm not going to make it to MOAB either. Got too much stuff to do at work this summer. Maybe next year when I get some more stuff done to the truck I'll make it.

Sweet! I want to see your rig dominate some gnarly runs. I highly advise you to do some run research before you show up at BFE so you know what to sign up for. I showed up last year and had to guess my way through which runs to sign up for, this year will be different.
Also, don't miss out on camping at area BFE. Roman is off talking about houses but the real party is over 100 trucks with a shitload of families food and beer. THE BIG 3. I may show up early this year to claim an Ohio campground...
Sorry to hear that guys, I hope you're out here next year!

Purdy goood although I should probably get a job soon...

Since working Desert Hearts and Lucidity I've been watching a friend's house. Went to a pretty mean art gallery party last night. A couple of my festi friends were playing sets there and we all met up n ran the town until early today. I think I'll be going up to Cleghorn to wheel with some FJ or 4runner peeps next weekend. I'll finally be able to redeem myself for the tipping the truck over there last Summer!

I'm not against camping at BFE.. I would actually prefer to do that, if there is a big group of us Ohioans.. If not then I'm bunking at the house with Pelfreybilt.

If you're talking to me... It took a friend and I about 5 minutes.

Tons of room. I should have taken an inside pic.

Camping at BFE is more than half of RT in the first place!

You are correct. Which you might think would be bad, but I think it actually works out much better like that. I packed all my shit in my bed underneath my tonneau cover. When I got to my spot, I just rolled up my tonneau cover and built the tent on the ground and then placed it onto the truck and strapped it down. Without having a floor, I didn't have to take all my stuff out

Seems pretty legit. I think the Pros outweigh the Cons on having a floorless bed tent. I haven't really done anything special in my bed, just a couple camp bed rolls and a mattress topper. I have been eyeing the 5" foam mattress that WallyWorld sells for $80 though...

Yeah, I've got a bed cap. I went the extra length of silicone sealing around it and filling the bed rails with insulating foam. Fortunately it doesn't rain in SoCal so i haven't had to truly test my *hopefully* weatherproof add-ons!

We will see, if one other guy comes with me then we will do BFE and hang with the rest of the crowd. If j go alone, I will stay at BFE for a good period of time then go to the house and get a nice warm shower and sleep

I'll likely end up forcing myself upon a Pelfrey shower unit a few times before the end of RT;)
