I went back there 2 weeks ago and there aren't any signs that say "no trespassing" or what not, but they did make that road block that people have made a path around. You can't get in any trouble for going if there aren't any signs, just say you thought the block was a gate keeper. I'm planning on going back there Tuesday afternoon probably

Josh dangit. If I wasn't on my way to Evans Creek with Tom, I'd come out and join you. Cherry valley is a lot closer than Evans.

    Are floor mats a mod?
Evans with @bobsuruncle was fun! I don't recommend unless lifted with sliders tho. Hits on 3 out of 4 wheels, both sliders, frame, skid, and Bob somehow hit up by his fair lead! Still trying to figure that one out. Fun in the mud!
Edit. Also a lot of pin striping, so if you value your paint.....

Just picked up some newish 5125's 10" variety on my way home for the rear. The ass end was definitely limited by my crappy shocks I have now. A locker only works good when both tires are on the ground. Time to get to the drawing board for triangulating these suckers.

Sure did. Needs a few more aesthetic adjustments but it does what I need it to do. Thanks again.

No problem. The gussets needed some repairs, but that was the only thing I had an issue with. How did you end up mounting it?

For now it's the same way you had it mounted, just bolted through the track system. Working on the angle iron over the bedsides which will probably happen when I get to the welder to setup my rear shocks.

You should check out the kbvoodoo bed caps. They might be sturdier for a setup like you are wanting.

I've already talked to him about a system, he basically told me the shipping from one side of the country to here would be the killer. Still tossing it around. There's a few other guys that sell that type of setup.

I have 5125's with 10+" (prior owner installed) in the OEM mounting spots, which I am not so keen on.
Looking to box the frame and plate the frame also and U-bolt flip which all require a new mounting location for 5125s.

Willing to assist and get some good ideas.

    Let me know...

Not sure if you saw my idea on new shock location, but it's not something I've seen from the Tacoma guys. I'm going back to a setup I used to run on my old 1st gen, 79-83, trucks. Basically torch off the stock shock locations and fab in a bar directly above the rear axle between the frame. Either weld some shock mounts on top of the axle, inside the leaf springs or just a simple bolt welded on the back side of the axle and a bolt on the bar welded in above the axle for the shock eyes to mount to. Eliminating the need for a OEM style shock and allowing for a broader range/style, double eye, shock to be used. Since I'll be changing the stock mounting locations a ubolt flip will probably happen at the same time.
