Looking at the same pro comp 3/1 lift. Do you get any rubbing with the 285/70/17? I was worrying about the 275/70/17, but sounds like those should be fine if you are running the 285's. Thanks!

Looks good, definitely prefer Methods without the center cap. The center cap design team at Method needs to be fired. lol..

Thanks for the heads up. Going to try the zip ties. Also going to shim the rear leaf springs to get the differential more in line. Also talked with the tech at Toyota that tried to recalibrate for the traction control issue last night. He said in a turn it shows the outside tire going way faster than the inside tire, so trucks computer thinks it will tip and throws on the breaks which causes all the noise and slowing. Thought if I could recalibrate for tire size issue would go away but wasn't positive. I called Hypertech and the tech guy cut me off before I coud even explain. He knew the issue immediately and said his product would fix it and Toyota installs there calibrator when they sell a truck with a lift. So I ordered one. Hope it works!

I was looking on toytec today trying to decide Boss or Icon? The Boss kit, what option did you go with for the rear, blocks or AAL? Also, did you pass on the UCAs with the kit to get your own? Thanks.

looks awesome i feel a lot better now about the 2" lift on my access cab. I was concerned it wouldnt be enough but that looks killer!

Thanks! I went with the single Deaver AAL but will be upgrading to the 3-leaf progressive pack here soon. I had the UCA's from my 5th Gen 4Runner that I held onto when I put it back to stock and plan on running them. Definitely rides smoother and stiffer and the ride height is perfect. I have the fronts set at 2.5 and the rear has held at about 2 3/4" with some settling.

Looking for a mild lift will be running 265/70/17. Adding AAL to the rear looking to bring front up slightly - don't want to spend lot of money on full coil kits. Has anyone installed the Toytec 2" Front lift spacers on their 2016s? http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/TAC2--2-Front-Spacer-Kit_p_305.html

Realize don't really require a lift however would like a little more space between the fender and tire...like the spacing of the TRD Pro 2017 concept.

prior to the duratracs, it drove very smooth no vibration I really like the 5100 with the ome springs, also had the ome springs on my fj but ended up selling it, had the duratracs installed, tire shop warned me because of the large lugs on the tires I may have some noise/vibration , sure enough I get a little vibration but not bad and it's tolerable. Almost sounds like I have mud terrain tires, Tires give my truck a nice aggressive look, no complaints with my set up or tires......

I will update. Supposed to have it installed tomorrow. Truck is still sitting by another guy that was putting on the amp running boards and was going to put Axle shims under my leaf pack in the back. Hoping to get it back today. Hoping the Axle shims get rid of the small shudder at around 20 miles per hour we'll see!

Update, speedometer calibrator is going on tomorrow so when that is done I will update on my traction control going off. But an update on the little shimmy or shudder at around 15 to 20 miles per hour. The Axle shims that were suggested to me seem to have done it. Probably could have used a 6 degree shim we only put on a 4 degree shim it is not completely straight but it is straighter than it was and although I didn't get a chance to drive it much I don't think that shudder is there any more! On a side note for some reason now I have an airbag light on. Don't know if he did something when he wired the amp running boards but the people putting the speedo calibrator on tomorrow at a different shop or going to check that for me.

Is this the Boss kit for 16+ or 05-15? Wheel and tire package specs?

    TIA!

to many to list, check the build thread
Toytec makes a BOSS kit for the 05-15 and for the 16, same exact kit but you don't want to crank up the coilovers more than 2" for the 16

16+ kit, currently set to 2.5" front, 3" rear with the Deaver single AAL. I'll be replacing the rear with a full leaf pack in the future as weight requires, but for now, it's great. Loading up this weekend for a 5 day trip to the Mojave so we'll put it through it's paces and see how it does. Wheels are 16x8 Method "The Standard" with 285/75R16 Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx

Nice to hear that that fixed your shudder issue. You should be with 4 degree shims there, it's ok to have little angle in there in case you load your bed with some weight or even when you ecxelerate it will move upward. Also the airbag light could be triggered when installer didn't disconnect the battery and massed with some wires/plugs that control airbags, try disconnecting your battery for 30min and see if that will reset your light.
Do you have alignment sheet of you front suspention? I have feeling your caster of approx 5 gegree if tripping your traction control. You need 28" from hub to fender to run those ucas, I think you don't have enough coil lift there. 4" on spindle and 3" on coil that would make 7" lift. Lol sounds crazy

I had the Hypertech speedometer calibrator installed today and I know they had the battery disconnected but maybe not for 30 minutes. Thought that would help with when I turn the traction control kicks on and anti-lock brakes kick on but it did not do the trick. I have an appointment with Toyota in the morning too run a scan to see what the issue with the airbag light is. Hope it's just something easy to reset. Also need to get an alignment because when he put the shims in the back now my steering wheel is crooked. I will not measure from Center of Hub to top of fender well, I don't think I have 28 inches but I will check.
