That's a tough one. I'd keep your sumo if you are happy with it and get a bigger bike. But if you aren't happy with it then get a bigger sumo.

    Fuck gears :p

P.S. I'm debating SAS now :anonymous:

I know the feeling, I'm at 20+ and have liked most but there are a few in there that I was happier to get rid of and move on to the next bike.

Why don't you put a big bore in the bike...that's my next step after full suspension upgrade

Pretty much. I need a trail bike, a supermoto, an adventure bike, a street bike, a cruiser, etc.... Haha

But now I'm starting to get the mod bug for the truck again. So we'll see.
Yeah, I get all excited when I look into getting a WR450F but then when I go out and ride my bike I really don't mind it. Let's be real, if I had a WR I wouldn't be doing any crazy awesome wheelies anyways. I have a ton more people I could ride with if I had a street bike as well and could actually travel farther than 30 miles away from home haha

I'm tired of how gutless it feel just from a stop, not at full throttle. Some gears would be nice....

You at least going to wait until it's paid off??
Eh, the big bores for my bike just aren't that reliable. And they only push it up to 28hp at best on top of the mods I already have done to get it to around 23hp. I'd be better off putting CBR300 (286cc) parts into it and get nearly as much hp with all OEM parts.

Plus the supermoto I want it nearly 60hp stock... :anonymous:

Even a 450 would be a pretty damn good street bike for highway and everything else unless you're wanting to ride multiple hours. You say you won't do wheelies till you realize how fun they are.

    Buy my drz :D

My truck does decent from a stop, the only thing I don't like is highway cruising. Can't use 5th

    No probably not :cookiemonster:

    Information source?
No one wants your whipped ass DRZ :p

You just said fuck gears and then you proceed to say your 5th gear is useless  so tell me why again did you risk blowing the DRZ up and then actually did blow it up, instead of putting 4.56s or 4.88s in your truck?

Yessir. There's a white/blue drzsm here which I thought it was at first, then I realized I saw it before I heard it so it couldn't be a drz lol

Had my 07 wr450 dyno'd the other day after my rebuild last winter..
The humidity was outrageously high- which wasnt ideal for a dyno run.
It put down just over 54hp at the wheel- the dyno operator seems to think if I ran it when the air is dry i should be at 56-57.
My last run prior to this was 48.80-
I can definantly tell a huge difference in it. Pulls to the rev limiter alot faster now.

This is my last run before being rebuilt-
Notice the power curve doesnt fall off anything like it did before,

    Because I can :luvya:

It's semi useless, I can use it just need to shift for the transmission on hills. Easier to just use fourth. Plus I don't want to regear if I sas the front end anyways. Gears would have cost me more than the bike stuff anyways.

And finally my drz if not fun then yours!! Ha
Nice. Been wondering how much they put down. What's all done to it?

I need to get my drz dynoed now, hoping for around 48 but that may not be possible without race gas

Your words, what do they mean?

All this money you've spent on the DRZ just makes me want a WR

Yea I've spent a lot but it's a bike I already have instead of having to sell and then buy another whole im still making payments.

I agree though that there are better bikes to start with. But for a drz it is a lot of fun with the extra power and I'd do it again

The 48.80 run it was mostly stock- with the exception of free mods, re-jet, a pro circuit slip on and 2006 yz450 cams.
Mods this last run were - 13.5:1 piston, carb bored from 39 mm to 44mm, venom ported head, 4239 intake hot cam, 06 yz450 exhaust cam, fmf mega bomb header and a mototasinarri air boot.
"Other" mods that didnt effect dyno #'s much were: a carillo rod, r&d power bowl 2, a hybrid wr/yz transmission swap (1-2-3 gears are yz spec, 4-5 wr spec), an oem slipper clutch from a 2015 yfz450r atv, brembo radial master cylinder, braking supermoto front caliper, galfer stainless steel brake line and vesrah pads

Quite a bit more going on with the bike than the truck these days. Got the carb running perfect the other day and as luck would have it once the bike was running perfect i got a wierd vibe. Pretty sure it's the flywheel weight but wanted to pull the top end and check the crank and piston connecting rod bearings. Both of which were super tight so it's not the important parts... Two strokes are so easy to work on. Also re-set the powervalve Z distance while the jug was out since it was a bit short, ~1mm.

That engine looks so weird to me. I've only ever needed with 4 stroke stuff
