Make sure to post a picture once it's finished and back on! I've been thinking about doing the same but I'd be a little hesitant that you could see the difference.

Here we go, it came out decent might go back polish the clear a little, But for my first attemped it wasent to bad pretty close. Taking the grill off and poping the tabs i think was the biggest pain. For a while it would not let go of the grill. If you do it take your time. For 5-7 feet away its close enough lol did my emblem too.

Went to Sherwin Williams auto paint store in boulder off pearl they mixed the paint and put it in an aerosol. Has to be the auto store not all of them do vehicle paint, took 15mins two cans of color match with 2x rapid clear coat was 50.00 bucks. Nice people guy who mixed the paint was a fellow tacoma owner had an older gen1.

Nice, looks good @Coop68! I've always liked the color match. I might have to do that soon...

Looked under the truck to see which side front shock was leaking. Yeah, they both are. :censored:

From what I've found online, OME has a 3 yr warranty and it seems I will need to contact Slee since thats where I got them. Hopefully they have some in stock so I dont have to wait. I've only had them on the truck since the middle of last June.

Anyone wanna have a mod day this week? My apt parking lot wont work so well for swapping out front shocks.

My B&D cordless drill finally went out after 8yrs....however at times it appears it was lacking some torque when using for heavy jobs. Does anyone recommend any cordless drill that are good on the market that you use and has lasted for a while?

I am a Dewalt guy. you can usually get a 20v drill/driver for $100 at a hardware store. Or a drill/impact combo kit for maybe 179 on sale.

My original Dewalt 18v drill combo kit I had for 7 years with the original batteries. They didnt hold an awesome charge, but they still worked well. But I am thinking for basic home use, you cant really go wrong, unless you get one of those goofy multi drill/sander/shoe polisher setups that pop up once in a while.

Man I almost bought a drill from freight harbor but sometimes other items I have bought from there they seem to fall apart like a mofo. Dewalts has pretty good reviews online as I am reading through it. When you say they didn't hold awesome charge, are we talking about 10mins it ends up dying?
