Hi everyone, I'm looking at purchasing a 2016 TRD Sport 4x4 but must have a front mount hitch receiver on it. I've searched everywhere and have not been able to find a solution. Has anyone installed one or know of a solution? Any advise would be appreciated.

Give it a bit of time, or have someone fab you one. I am guessing that kind of stuff will begin to trickle out pretty heavy 1st or 2nd quarter of next year, but front receivers aren't in high demand, so having one fabbed would be my recommendation. You can buy one for a 2015 and let them adjust as needed to save time/money.

Or, call a company that has a pretty good selection for other trucks and see what their time frame is.

I will be doing a front receiver hitch as well. I want a lightbar in the lower grill, so will be putting the receiver through the bumper as shown here (not my photo, just one I grabbed that had a lightbar so I could sketch out where the receiver would go).

If anyone is near Maryland, wants one of these and is willing to allow me to use their truck for mock up, it's yours for free. It WILL require minor bumper trimming. I've already looked at a 3rd Gen and I can't bring it out in the same spot I do on the 2nd Gen. PM if interested.

I agree with this. I want a front receiver but I do not want to remove my lightbar. I hope Mobtown offroad can make one work similar to the photo above.

If all goes according to plan, I am picking up the steel from the laser house that cuts it for us tomorrow. Then I need a few weeks to weld a batch and get them powder coated. Expect them to be in stock in 3-4 weeks.

We considered going through that spot so you could run a light bar where you showed. Problem is it is 13" from mounting point on chassis to the face of the bumper in that spot. Welding a receiver tube, and being able to reinforce it well enough was not feasible.

Curt makes one as well. Mounts below the front bumper, you have to remove/trim the air dam.

True. A lot of people don't care for them because they kill your approach angle when offroad and are nearly inaccessible if you do get in a situation and need it.

@Mobtown Offroad , Can you use that same design to configure a "hidden" winch mount there? Cause that's exactly what I'm looking for!
