Flew up to Columbus Ohio from Florida to pickup my new Tacoma at Toyota West. Local dealers wouldn't work with me and Dean at Toyota West in Columbus was awesome. Flawless transaction and since I had to drive the new taco back to Florida I decided to stop in Pigeon Forge TN. for the weekend and rented a cabin. What a great trip and perfect way to break in my new truck. I'll be starting a North50 build thread so plenty more to come.

275/70R17 all stock and no rub? I thought 265 was the biggest people were going on a stock with no rub. Would be awesome if I could get 275 thats why I'm curious, thanks!

He also doesn't have mud flaps which, if I remember correctly, is what people have been rubbing up against.

I bought the WeatherTech flaps as well, they are digital fit and i installed all 4 in about 20-minutes. Install uses existing holes and they fit perfect with my factory flares
... i don't plan on doing much off roading is why i chose these, they are rigid so i wouldn't recommend them if you plan on off roading much as they would likely get broken off

How hard was it to remove the stock panel and how did you wire up the switch? Thanks for the help!

What's that "Toyota Security" button? Do you have the factory alarm/lo-jack?

That is a beautiful area there!! That cabin looks like a mansion to me.

And congrats on the New truck! Sucks you had to go all the way up north for it. Must of been one Hell of a deal to also be worth the plane ride and gas home.

I had to play 2 local'ish dealers against each other.. I called Ocala from the gainesville dealership, they offered a better deal, got to Ocala and then called gainesville back from the Ocala dealership. Then they took me more seriously and i ended up saving 4 grand and getting a lower finance rate back in gainesville on the same truck. Shame what you have to do to get treated right... Also made me aware of how much money i have wasted over the years by not negotiating prices down. If/when i buy another vehicle I'll be even more prepared to hold my ground until i get the deal i think i can get.

Just hard to walk out on a beautiful shiny new truck LoL
