The way Dylan and I figured it out. Note kids don't do this with anyone you don't trust. We both took turns laying under the truck putting it in forward and reverse feeling the front drive shaft and we would feel like a ball pin hammer tapped the shaft with a ping. Then move the shaft around the bearing and saw some excess play. What it was is that for some how the bearing wasn't seated on the shaft. I was able to pull the old bearing off in one piece. I put on the new bearing and pressed it on. Everything is in my build with pics.

Check your local craigslist. Try searching for all different names; camper shell, truck topper, truck cap, etc.

Also check used trucks for sale on CL. You might be able to get a cap only from a seller selling their whole truck with cap.

    That's gorgeous. FJ40, right?

I hadn't really put much thought into spray/roll on bedliners, but you make a good point. Spray on is far too pricey for me though. Roll on isn't so bad, however. I'll definitely give it some thought.

Color matched the front and rear bumpers, the flares, and painted the grill black.. Also plasti dipped the badges and smoked the headlights.

True and almost no downtime when you are just swapping diffs too.

Yeah I got a quote for a shop to prep the bed and spray on a rubberized bedliner and they wanted $400! Not sure how much a do it yourself roll on bedliner kit would cost. And of course some people are lucky and have buddies with shops that have a compressor and the whole spray on set up and all you have to do is prep, mix and spray

That's pretty reasonable for a shop, most places around me charge 650-700 for a 6ft bed and the edges of the bed. At least for real Line-X. Got lucky that mine was Rhino lined in 08 I guess.

Monstaliners can be sprayed on if you have a air compressor. So much faster. Not sure if the other brands are strictly roll on or not.

Yeah that's what this is and he does the top edges of the bed and tail gate. I also have some rust forming right where he could sand it down and spray line X on it to save the rust from going any farther. Right now I just have a crappy plastic bed liner that shrunk and rattles after every bump I hit! Sounds so ghetto!

I want to monstaliner but I have so many rust spots that need to be patched first and no ability to do so.

Really nothing amazing. KLX300R, and so far my shit ass luck is continuing as usual. Went to do an oil change and the threads came with the drain bolt. I seriously can't have anything that works right the first time.... Helicoils or piggy back drain plug here I come :annoyed:

Hmm. Does anyone know of any good write ups on removing the sway bar? All I've found is stuff for second gen. I guess they might be close to the same. It doesn't seem like it's that hard but I just wanna read up on it first. Thanks.
