One suggestion for future group buys on these snorkels, collect non-refundable $100 up front, or proof that you have cut up a hole in your fender for a snorkel before making it on the list. That hole of shame will get people to pay up quick.

I'm not if this is etiquette but cant we allocate the unpaid / unresponsive snorkels to whomever is willing to pay? Seems like the next logical step...

I saw another option regarding not drilling the pillar, a member here used some kind of industrial adhesive tape, i remembered seen it somewhere.

Idk what exact adhesive tape he used but I might try to do the 3m automotive molding tape. Or maybe look for the strongest possible stuff to have it before it gets here.

i remembered him saying it was a double side adhesive tape that can hold up to 30lbs or something like that, 2 other guys did the same thing and the were very happy with the results. the tape still holding strong.

I've got some of that high end 3m automotive tape holding in thin aluminum plates I put behind the cut outs of my bumper and running 70mph they don't move at all, its strong stuff but I don't know if I could trust it to hold my snorkel steady on the pillar. I may just make my own bracket once I get a look at what comes with the airflow but I would tape it for a temporary solution though.

Don't know if this could work, but what about a bracket from the stock roof rack holes that come down and mount to the snorkel. Something like a light bar bracket but lower profile that can connect the snorkel.

I was going to venture down this road. Anyone have any absolute "this won't work because...."

that might work for double cabs with pre-drilled holes from factory , i have an access cab i still have to drill holes on the roof. i just want to prevent water going inside the cabin.
