Any interest in a Group Buy for the Wilco Hitchgate tire carrier? This is for the hitch mounted version. Either on center or off center. Can attach a HiLift jack to it, Jerry Cans. Off Center will still make it so you're camera is still usable. Swings out for full access to the tailgate and bed. They fit any 2 inch receiver. I am in the process of working something out with Wilco as we speak.

If they don't work out you could always hit up CBI? Bummer the wilco one sticks out as far as it does. I do dig that they swing to the side vs CBIs which folds down. I'll have to think about this

This is just a feeler for them to monitor. So concerns or questions. Post em up please. The other Tiregates can also be included in this as well. Just trying to gauge interest

I wonder how easy it is to remove and put back on. I'm leaning away from bumpers with a swing out because I access the bed of the truck so many times a day. It would be nice to have this sitting in the garage for the rare multi day wheeling trip.

with a topper, the tire gate would just let in too much dust for my uses. I sleep back there.

Depending on the style of your receiver, sticks out 20" + 1/2 the width of your tire.

Removing the Hitchgate takes all the time that taking out your hitch pin and removing 1 bolt requires. If you have a buddy on hand, you wouldn't technically have to remove your tire even, although it makes it easier.

If you have the License Plate Relocator wired up, it requires more time obviously to handle wiring stuff, but it's a very plug and play, simple thing to install/move.

The CBI one looks to stick out about as far...does it wobble much?

Note, this is the Vertical Mount Tiregate. On mid-sized trucks (aka Tacoma), the Hi-Lift Jack mount is NOT an option, as the shortest Hi-Lift is too wide for the bed.
