Yeah. That will be fine for just your cab. But not the rest. Where are you mounting the unit?[/QUOTE]

The 12 is perfect for the back of the roof rack. I hate sloppy cabling. Just ordered the 18 foot length. It'll be here tomorrow. :) I'll install it Wednesday as well as some new reverse lights and bed lighting.

Just the part that sits on and mounts to the bed rail. The way they have it done is fucking stupid. So im cutting that part out so I can use my bed rails and use the t nuts to attach it to the bed.

That would be a downgrade IMO. The Billet ones have uniball retention issues...

Proof? We have done literally 100s of sets of the Billet arms and not once have we ever seen one with any "retention issues".

I've seen it first hand on 2 friends Tacomas, and heard of it from others with them on FJ Cruisers. The C clip pops out and the uniball starts working its' way out. I have never seen this issue on the uniball tubular arms though, we have a set on my wife's 4runner too and they've been fine for a year and a half

Billet arms use a spiral lock not a conventional C-clip, I just spent about 15 minutes trying to find a documented case of this somewhere online and haven't found anything. The Billet arms are substantially stronger than a welded tube UCA and use the heimed inner pivots, as upper and lower links go they are well worth the investment. As I said we have literally done 100s of these arms and have never seen a case where a spiral lock will back out but that said a normal C-clip is no less prone to the possibility of breaking a retaining clip than a spiral lock. Sounds more like a severe lack of maintenance to me than faulty parts.

I have seen several standard C-clips break, but never to the point that a Uniball loses retention and falls out. These were on race vehicles too.

Just sharing my experiences here with a customer of ours. Not saying every set will have an issue, maybe it's only a handful ever, but I've personally seen it a couple times. I think Billet arms are a great idea, not arguing that. I'm just not a fan of Icon products in general.

So first it was a couple friends Tacomas, now its one customers truck yet there is literally zero documentation of this anywhere that I can find. Sounds to me like you're just a hater.

A UCA is a UCA, Camburg to TC to Icon to All Pro or whatever else out there, if it runs a uniball its pretty much the same concept with small tweaks or variations here or there theres only so many times you can reinvent the wheel
