Sorry if this has already been addressed BUT what is everyone doing with the gap between the window & top of the panel, if anything at all. Just curious.. Noticed it during test fitting. It's minor but.. OCD
Drilling the holes, smoothing the cuts from factory molle panel, & painting it... That's where I'm at.

Did you try to test fit before drilling out holes? Some people needed it, some didn't. As far as the gap, nobody's asked. I personally never worried about mine.

Yes, I test fitted & the holes were off I'm smoothing out the top for my kids you know if they go back there to get stuff.. They were a bit sharp for my liking. I'm a mom so I worry like that. Lol.. Gap isn't bad just didn't know if anyone noticed or came up with something.. I'm sure I will at some point. Slow & steady over here.

You could use trim lock to cover that top edge if it worries you. I didn't consider it, but I might do that since I have 2 boys that will be in my back seat.

Autozone & lowes has everything u need. Grab some door trim. Cheap easy and soft + gap filling.
After that use the thickest widest weather stripping you can find from lowes.

    That's what I'd do.
    Pic for reference.
Run those access the top. Done.

funny, this is the stuff I used in that very spot and in a couple other spots that I want a bit more deadening. It is expandable foam, used in roofing projects (the stuff I had was for that anyway). Picks up water like a sponge because that is basically what it is, open cell foam.
    Works great for tight spots.

That was exactly what I was thinking for the gap.. Just didn't know if anyone had anything different they'd used.. I know it's not a big deal to many.

Works really well there. I like the idea of killing as much noise as I can back there. Makes a huge difference in the cab.

I'm having mine sandblasted and powdercoated - with hopes of it cutting down on the edge sharpness.

I think the problem here is the stamping method, as you move down a sheet - depending on the machine stamping them out and the sheet size, it'll shift up to 1/8" per sheet as I have seen over the years. My sheet came in warped a bit in the stamping direction so I'm sure that might have something to do with it. I still have yet to install mine, waiting for coating first but I leave for business shortly. I also need to find a suitable MOLLE bag to fit my V-Air pump....

Sooo I've gone through this thread and haven't seen much said about those with the JBL subwoofer. If there is a way to make that work with this - I'm in!

I could design it and get a quote from the shop, however I would need someone that has the jbl subwoofer near me so i can take measurements.

    Do they look like this?
Umm i'd say buy a normal one and cut off wheel what you need to fit the box. using @GHOST SHIP image just cut away this part. and should be good.

    That's probably the best plan.

@LVTheMadness11 Oh and you won't need that hinge bracket that flips the plastic up since there will be no more plastics. Then you just need to come up with something to cover the sub, if you want. Get creative.

Or that bracket part of the seat... I cant tell from these pictures i looked up online.

@LVTheMadness11 Thinking about it you could cut the plastic top off and reuse the sub cover if you wanted. Might loose the "latching" capability of the plastic since its at the top but with seats up it wont move.
