    What do you consider bro-country...obv FGL, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, ect...but what about Chris Stapleton and Eric Church? Those are 2 of my faves. The weird thing is, I listen to Eric Church 'radio' on Amazon Prime Music and it plays a lot of that bro country but I listen to Chris Stapleton 'radio' on Pandora and it never plays it. It only plays Chris Stapleton, Eric Church and everyone once in a while it throws in a Dierks Bentley song, but I like that dude...and his look ;)...

    He's probably my favorite country artist right now. I got to see him live last Oct and he was sick, so he was letting people come up and sing while the band played. It was awesome. Fortunately, I was the DD, so I didn't get wasted and get up there and try to sing haha. I just got his new album yesterday; it's really good.

    Love Chris Stapleton and Eric Church. I've seen Eric Church twice. I like Dierks, too.

    Most of what I listen to is older (anywhere from 1950's-2000's), but I do like some of the newer guys a lot like Zac Brown, Eric Church, Justin Moore, etc.

    Bro country to me is basically anything you hear on modern country radio now that had rap beats and sings about girls in short skirts/cut-off blue jeans, moonshine, jacked up trucks, field parties, etc. Modern country is fucking ridiculous

    Here's the country I have on my phone right now: Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Stapleton, Corey Smith, David Allan Coe, Dierk Bentley, Drive-By Truckers, Easton Corbin, Eric Church, Garth Brooks, Gary Allan, George Strait, Hank Jr., Jamey Johnson, Jason Isbell, Johnny Cash, Josh Turner, Justin Moore, Justin Townes Earle, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Merle Haggard, Montgomery Gentry, North Mississippi Allstars, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ryan Bingham, Shooter Jennings, Sturgill Simpson, old Tim McGraw, Travis Tritt, Turnpike Troubadors, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Zac Brown Band.

    Everything else is classic rock (mostly southern rock: Skynyrd, Allman Bros, etc.) I also have a few guilty pleasures like Bruno Mars, Mumford & Sons, and a lot of 90's rock bands.

    TL;DR: bro country blows. Sorry it's a winded response. Music is one of my few passions lol

    Ha gotta do what you gotta do for the ladies. Amy was into all that shit when we first started dating, but I brainwashed her into hating bro-country, too.

    I haven't really heard anything (I do like that song, though). I hear ol T Swizzle all the time because Amy is borderline obsessed with her, but I can't remember the last time I listen to country on the radio. I find out about new artists from Spotify, which weeds out most of the shit if you listen to the right stations.

    Alright I agree with you. Sadly my wife likes FGL and for some reason Luke Bryan so I have to put up with them...She is trying to make me take her to see Luke Bryan in concert but I've put my foot down on that one. I settle for Darius Rucker usually, but only because he always plays a handful of Hootie songs, and who doesn't love Hootie?
