I walked into the wrong apartment once, in the middle of the day. Does that count?

    LOL.

Wandering around camp with a solid buzz is a good time.

Also, all my night photos are a result of grabbing a few beers and going for a hike. Hiking atop a mountain, in the dark while both hands are occupied, then waiting for the camera doesn't sound like any fun while sober.

Yes when I get drunk, "Ended up", "and the next thing I knew", and "I have no idea why, but I " are used OFTEN. now I'm too close to my military retirement to chance it too often (especially since I like to get behind the wheel) so I RARELY drink anymore.

I'm not missing any hardware for the tent. I'm waiting to receive my prinsu roof rack from the group buy before I can install the rack and tent all in one go. The rack is scheduled to arrive today.

Ended up hauling out 3 trash bags full of trash that people left behind. All of it used for target practice. We usually do a bit of shooting if the time/area allows for it, but always pick up much more then our brass and target cans.

the contractor bags are nice for shit like that... MUCH more resistant to cutting or holes being poked in by sharp edges on shot up metal. just $.02

but good on ya for even picking up other people's trash! most wouldn't.:cheers:

That's usually what I carry with me in the Trasharoo, but ran out. Grabbed some cheapo's from the kitchen while running out the door. They got the job done but are ready to burst haha.

I refuse to use anything else, and always keep a roll in my truck for backup, because when you combined sharp shit, food/liquid, and packing out your own shit... I REALLY don't want holes LOL... friend of mine ruined a brand new trash-a-roo learning that lesson.:puke:

Finally remembered to actually take pictures of the RTT and our setup. This is the 6th trip I've taken and the first time I actually remembered to take a picture of the truck and RTT. Always seems to be the last thing on my mind while on an adventure. Me and my wife took a 10-day camping trip from San Diego up the coast to Oregon, over to Washington then back down through the Sierras.

It was an awesome trip with perfect weather, except for one day that we got snowed in near Tahoe, but that ended up being an unexpected and cool detour.

Redwoods near Humboldt (this was in a campground on the Avenue of the Giants - highly recommend)

Grover Hot Springs Campground (just south of Tahoe). Unexpected snow adventure!

It's the Prinsu Bedrac. Not sure if he (@zscott ) is still making these. It's awesome though. I think the height is 14 inches, but I honestly can't remember. It's either 12 or 14 for sure.

Looking at doing a very similar trip this summer. Plan is to go from san diego to oregon and maybe cross into Canada. Do you have some sort itinerary you'd be willing to share? Was 10 days enough?
