I can't say that I run them (or know anyone that does). With that being said, I'd recommend getting Bilstein 5100s instead. They're extremely popular here because they're inexpensive ($330 for all 4) and ride great.

I have the entire Rancho set up on my truck. The ride is great, when adjusted properly. a nice soft ride will be set between 2 and 5, hard ride is set between 5 and 8. The installation was easy, what I liked about the set up that I put on was it came with everything, all shocks, UCA, spacers, ect. I like the stance the truck has, allows you to install 285/70/17, remove the front mud flaps, slight trimming behind the front tire (Plastic trimming - no metal trimming). I don't off road much, dirt trails, mud pits, that's about it, no rock climbing. All in all I like the set up. It's not a popular set up with fellow Taco owners, not sure why. give me a shout if you have any questions, maybe I can help.

Been lookin at thos to. With the 5100 should I use the stock springs or get something else? It's just a street driven truck with a trail here and there.

    great. Thanks

Thanks...I love the height and the ride too, just what I was looking for. The only thing I would think about is the tire size. If the truck is your daily driver and you are watching your fuel MPG, then stay with 265's, if you don't care about MPG, like me cuz it's my weekend driver only, then bump up the tire size to 275 or 285. One thing I did add to this truck that was not in the Rancho kit was TOYTEC 1/4" spacers for the front shock assembly. I only installed them because I'm running 285's, it gave me more clearance when turning the tires to full lock both sides. Good luck in your decision.

If you end up deciding on the 5100s, pair it with some Old Man EMU 885x springs. They're $160 on Amazon and will get you 2.5" of lift in the front.

No, the kit comes with blocks, don't remember the size, so that's what I installed. I am currently adding the Firestone air bags as we speak. I tow a 25' camper, so the air bags is what I really need for the back. going to keep the blocks installed and see what happens, might need to remove them and just use the air bags.

Are these level 8 16" wheels or 17s???i have a 6" maxtrac lift kit with billstein shocks and currently running on 33x22.5 xR20 but am not likeing my wheels and am wondering why maxtrac does say the smalles rim size i can use with this kit is 17" wheel, now i found someone selling these same level 8 wheels with brand new tires for $800 obo...i totally like the look on the tacomas but the problem is that they are 16" wheels

I've never heard of that. May want to email the company and ask why that's the case. Mine are 17s, but a lot of people run 16s too.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I'd call/email them asking why 17 is required, because that doesn't make sense to me.

I have OME 887's on 5100's up front with ICON 2.0 Shocks and the ICON 1.5 Progressive AAL in the back. And buy it from an AUTHORIZED DEALER such as @HeadStrong Off-Road @Wheelers.com Toytec.com if something goes wrong with the part Amazon or Fleababy isn't gonna help you with shit. Plus if you buy from Headstrong or Wheelers or Toytec they are Vendors on here and help us out quite a bit.

How many miles have you logged on your rancho lift so far? Still likeing it? Any issues? My cousin just installed a Rancho lift on his Jeep, the guy who did the work for him swears by his Rancho lift so I am contemplating joining the band wagon.

Hop on board the wagon then...I really don't drive the truck much. I have a company truck as my daily driver so the Taco sits in the driveway. Although, I have probably put on about 1000 miles since I installed it back in March. I really love the Rancho Lift, the adjustable shocks are very convenient, especially since I tow a camper. The installation went very smooth and it was easy, I did it myself in the driveway. the ride is very smooth when setting the shocks on 2 to 5, after 5 the truck rides harder, but that's what the set up is built to do. I see you are in Mass, where abouts, if it's not to far I could met up with you sometime and you could check out my truck and take it for a ride.
