It actually runs quite well but had a few small spots in the floor that needed repair so I decided to do a full fix on it. Por15, Roadkill mat and new carpet. Then the Tacoma came along.......................o_O

I had never been to that part of Tennessee but now I can't wait to go back. Yeah my local Toyota dealer sucks and the other two I called in Florida were no better so after looking on here I called Dean in Columbus and it was the best car buying experience I've ever had. oh yeah the cabin was pimp I wanted to live there.

    Bed slide for new truck:
Here is a pic of our bed slide I made waiting for the new truck to get here from Texas.
It runs on a row of castors either side, has adjustable stops when you pull it out, It's attached to the bed with 5/16" rivet nuts. Not for heavy loads but good for camping etc.

Installed my 30" LED light bar, 3 switch plate, light bar switch, and garage door button mod. Didn't care for the placement of the light bar's mounting bracket so I fabricated one from some framing brackets that I had laying around. Worked perfectly. Headlights are not really that blue; camera adjusted the color.c273bf9ed9d05bb6dec79e24fbf29bee_b8a224526ac88080d3621652e81ab280dc5321a9.jpg14a985d1956e7363ade631d305e3838e_e0347c5f2728a5a91821c8699405d7bb94458dd5.jpg2f587fbcfe84925bf10259229d0e74a9_30180dbcdff15ebfdc0b935ca0c9cbc254be01a2.jpg5b27e79db2566474372e704c8249feda_795d2d459cdd772704b53f8a01ed4445ec301424.jpg

hey how are those blistiens working out for ya....wanted to get a good lift on the front and just looking at the different options. are those front shocks adjustable if you wanted an aftermarket spring in there. also did putting on those blistiens void your warranty.

From what I read from blistein and other knowledgeable in such things the 5100 are ment for OEM springs and aftermarket is not recommended. Does not void warranty unless the dealer can prove whatever broke was directly related to the blisteins (moss-magnason act) blistein has lifetime warranty but you would have to pay for the R&R labor. They are adjustable zero to 2.5". I set mine to .85.
Like the ride and improved the feel of my sport with what were teeth crunching jolts are now noticeable bumps. A coworker put them on his Ram and said the same thing. Also feels like it holds a corner better.

Anyone else notice a lot of glare off the hood during sunrise/sunset driving? Thinking about having some old school Toyota hood stripes made out of vinyl and putting them on my hood. Like the ones painted on my crawler.image.jpg

    No where near enough!
The slow build continues, lift by Rancho and a brand new "Active Cargo System" from -Leitner Designs- mail me for details. One hour, one man build! Blew me away! Last pic was taken this weekend on the Mojave road. This rack works (for my needs) like no other I have found. Highly recommended!

Did you add a longer hose? If so where did you get it? I need to do the same.

Yes! I'm blinded every morning by it! If you do try some vinyl strips please post your results; I may try it as well.

Dean is one of the nicest guys ever. He has the best reputation, honesty and professionalism. He also has the highest number of Tacoma sales on the East coast and gets the highest allocation for manual transmission Tacomas. Hussain is the other classy guy at the dealer. Both are high class honest guys and a pleasure to work with. Toyota west Ohio (Columbus) is the place to go. They offer great deals and will ship across the country

Glad I'm not the only one have a good friend who's wife does vinyl graphics think I'm going to have a set made. May have a few made. The stripes on my 85 really help with the glare off the hood.
