I welded on them for 3 years at Force protection inc here in Ladson SC. They are bad ass

 

any multifuel military truck. I want to run it on old fast food grease, fuel, melted zombie fat.

 

Anyone in a truck is as good as dead. Sorry but, you're gonna need gas after not too long, and that's what everyone is going to be doing, so you're going to either run into a lot of zombies or a lot of people who want the same thing as you.

I'd just grab someone's four-wheeler and then I'd steal the first horse I came across. Make for the mid-west and build myself a cabin out in the mountains, hundreds of miles from anyone. That's the only plan that makes any sense to me.

 

I grab a high speed catamaran ferry boat. Load it with provisions, vegetable seeds, some mating pairs of livestock and chickens. My sweetie, my crazy yellow lab, some really good Cush seeds. A wind turbine. Some serious artillery and ammo. And head for the biggest unoccupied island with fresh water and tropical breezes I could find.
Oh you ment a truck?!

Did I miss the mountains in the mid-west? I was in Frisco, Co. today, and I know what I was seeing there...

Do dirt bikes count? You can go fucking far up a mountain that no 4 wheel vehicle can get up.

Edit: never mind you specified trucks. Damn.

 

Since either gas or diesel engines run just fine on propane and natural gas, I would pick the Tacoma over a diesel because the shelf life on a diesel fuel sucks not to mention the algae and water disperse additive treatment for diesel would be hard to find , whereby propane and natural gas can be stored for years with NP.
The next step would be to stop by UPS, kill some zombies and get all the petrol gas to propane ecm controllers and tanks.
