I agree with you on Toyota and them filling to the proper level. I work as a Project manager/ME at a Daimler Truck factory and have installed such fill equipment. First we would know the target fill amount in the design of the equipment, second we would test the equipment for accuracy, third we would verify that the vehicle is filled to proper levels before and after dyno, forth it would get a final check, 5th PDI is suppose to check prior to shipping to dealer. We do this for every vehicle built. Unless Toyota is just ignoring a quart low mistake in their fill equipment or design by assessing the actual risk or the dealers don't have a clue. They also have a record of every vehicle they fill at the factory and how much. I would suggest dealers are clueless.

That must of been a damn good few days! Plane ride up north, bad ass truck to cruise the scenic rodes on the way back. Nice ass cabin to spend the night in. An hopefully to top it off the lady was glad to see the little guy when you made it home! (Or baby arm)

Front window tint match and windshield strip. Rubber bed mat. Running boards. Console insert. Husky floor liners. Exterior LED conversion with Diode Dynamic and Opt7. Low profile window visors.
I love mine. I still want to try adjusting the angle a bit using the adjustment screws on the back of the OEM assembly. I think I can optimize (no pun intended) the beam. Seems like I'm getting a little too much focus close to the front of the vehicle with not enough forward "throw". I read where some have complained that these lights aren't as bright as the factory halogens. My main goal with installation was to color match my DRL, lows, and fogs. I like to run DRL and fogs when low beams aren't necessary. So yes, I'm still happy with mine. Have had them for a couple of months now and still think they are a good value for the money.

    Hope that helps

I Installed a Cobra 75WXST 40-Channel CB Radio today. No drilling at all, power unit is installed under driver's seat.
The whole thing, control included, can be stashed under seat flap totally out of sight.
I attached/slid the power box under and between the seat spring metal.
The compact CB control unit simply lays by the handbrake which holds it in place until needed.
The glass antenna cable goes out of sight behind the seat storage box unseen.
I went with a glass mount because I had great results many years ago. I've had many types including K-40 magnet mount and bumper mounts but they are somewhat intrusive and the results I had with a cheap radio shack glass mount back then were amazing and surprisingly good.
I don't expect the same results from this Tram wsp 1198 but who knows. And then again, hardly no one uses CB in town anymore except maybe in rural areas with spotty or non existing cell reception.
Anyhow, my main use is for weather alerts, as when traveling thru poor cell reception areas I wanna have backup hail, tornado, flash flood, forest fires and what have you alerts, from the weather service and for off road use too.
For anyone interested, I should add, that the glass type antennas work real good when properly installed.
First, it doesn’t work well on tinted glass specially metallic tint. My tint is ceramic, but I had the tint shop cut and re-install that section. I believe most pro shops in my area use ceramic because of all the new gadgets with gps ppl use now.
Second, you need to use locktight on the outside antenna fastener, so that it doesn’t work itself out with the wind.
    Cheers!

How are the badges removed without damaging the finish? I want to replace all the chrome ones' with black out badges.

    Thanks

I am fabricating some of my own, could you take a picture of how they bolt to the frame? I have most of the cuts measured and ready for Saturday. I just can't think of what to do with the brackets. I will be forever in your debt.

I like this removal on this vehicle. I find that I like the look of the vinyl left on on OR models. It goes with the black trim elsewhere on them...

This is my very first post and would like everyone to meet Felicia. Nothing serious, but this just happened yesterday--rims/tires mounted, and removed Air Dam. Also, I plan on installing the leveling kit tomorrow. Pics to follow. Cheers!
