Seriously dude... I've lived in Socal (san diego ) all my life (except last year when staying in Nevada, loved it there too)

& things are so fucked up here I dont recognize anymore, too expensive/WAAY too many people, I'm a country boy at heart

 

I live in Prescott and the elevation is around 5500 and some spots close to 7000. Welcome to AZ

I just orderd the torq converter and have all the other parts for the tranny I will be dropping it in a week or so.

I run calls in Christopher Creek. Beautiful town. Not sure how much longer it will be around, they may loose their creek. Water managers have ruled that their creek is not a natural spring from the water resivoir but a leak. A leak they plan to fix as that is California's water that is leaking. Bullshit CA politics trying to destroy everything it can so other states will be as miserable as they are.

 

Nice, your mention of "top of the rim" , is that the Grand Canyon rim or just any random rim over a canyon or valley ??..

Think Payson to Showlow. It's bigger than that, but those are two cities you have already mentioned.

I work in Payson, which is just below the rim. Less snow than the places up on the rim.

 

This looks like a fun course, especially if dialed back to normal-human sized and dry. It's been a LONG time since I've ridden wet roots and rocks.
