Don't worry, IF they give you another trans, it'll be a reman'd unit. If they're anything like Chrysler, they'll only replace it if it costs more than 70% of a new one to rebuild yours. Or if they're like Hyundai, they don't trust their techs to rebuild and they'll just give you a reman.

Haha trust me bro they won't get away with that. My truck was less than a week old when the leaf springs decided to get fucked. Took them a week to figure it out and I raised hell got them to give me new leaf springs off a truck on the lot because it was going to take a month for new ones and I told them to fuck off

No I'm not mad just mad it didn't survive because I didn't put it through anything it shouldn't be able to handle. Never red lined it or anything but spent many a days in the desert driving that thing pretty hard

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I wish my dog was this disapproving.

Clearly from his side of it lol. Anyways, the gasket blew last August. I was in college up till February so couldn't even start it. Head gaskets are already here, just need to be installed

Wait, so never reclined? Or driven hard? You done have one with out the other, unless towing heavy trailers. :D

Never red lined always driven hard. Never put through shit it shouldn't be able to handle. And yes towing at 80mph isn't the smartest thing but I'm impatient

Yeah a lot of toyota transmissions aren't that strong. About the only one I can think is bullet proof is the first gen v6 manual. To a point. It still no chevy tranny.
