    Todays agenda.

Fire an employee that spends more time challenging my authority than actually doing her job.
Prepare for State Fire Marshall visit/inspection @ 10AM
    Board meeting @ 1PM.
    Exhale.

    One of those days....

    Hope YOURS goes well.

    Morning all.

Up at 2:30AM, but back on shift Tuesday night, so I'm rolling with it.

Is it weird that the worst sounding part of that to me is the Board Meeting? Gosh I don't miss my management jobs at all.

Hope it goes well Blue. :)

The board meeting is as political as it gets. Mostly, just the "powers that be" putting their spin on things for "the record". About 90% of what we'll hear is utter nonsense. And the rest is the General Manager patting himself on the back for a mediocre performance. I sit there and pretend to be interested. Waste of 2 to 3 hours.

Yep, sounds like most of the meetings I remember. :bananadead: Anything over an hour is a waste of time, most people quit listening after that, or maybe it's the rest of the people quit, point is, no one listens really beyond an hour. "Meetings, where the minutes are kept and the hours wasted." ;)

not shaping up to be a good day. have dr apt with endochrynologist at 3 i've been fighting the good fight for about 14 years but the time may have come for injections. i'm about as scared as a little kid getting on a rollercoaster for the first time. i understand this is trivial compared to what others have gone through i.e. blue's recent diagnosis but it's hard for me to face

OK....So far....Firing went OK....I got called an "insufferable bitch". Been called worse. Told I was gonna be sued. Heard that all before. Fire inspection went incredibly well. 5 VERY minor violations that are already remedied and will be re-inspected tomorrow. A member bought me lunch. (Baked salmon and rice....really tasty!) Now on to the board meeting in 20 minutes, then home. What started off looking like a really gloomy day has (so far) turned out to be just another day in paradise.

I think the answer is "adapt and move on with it." Easier said than done I know, but it's the truth of the matter. You'll be fine Chris. ;)

    Wish you the best!

Just left my Orthopaedic Doctor and went over the MRI's. Rotator cup inflammation, or a very small tear, and some arthritis in the neck. He's recommending physical therapy. I'm glad for that!! No surgery at this time! It's also turning out to be a good day in my world. Enjoy the Day All! :)
