I keep going back and forth about keeping my truck. I REALLY wanted a 4 door. and I've gotten over my love of stick shift. Not to mention I hate the color and really miss cruse control.

I will be buying a 13-15 Double Cab in the next year or so, more room/more power. as much as I'd love to say I'll keep my 99 (since it's paid off and pretty well setup)... I know I won't. I'll sell it, and use the $ to mod the 2nd Gen.

For all of you folks that fill your bed with a rail to rail toolbox. I installed a 30 inch bolted to the bed plastic tool box on my 2001 15 years ago. It served me very well centered against the front of the bad and it was about 13 inches high. I replaced it last week with a very nice 30 inch Aluminum box again bolted to the bed. The space on either side is perfect for a bag of groceries, a case of beer, laying fishing rods inside the bed, etc. Several of my friends expressed horror that I would drill holes in my truck bed. It's worked great since 2001. and I think the new box should be good for another 15 years. I have painted every hole that I drilled with clear Rustoleum and put marine adhesive on both sides of the thru bolt. So I guess I wonder why I never see other trucks with the smaller boxes, is it just because drilling holes in the truck bed is verboten? I can absolutely state that it is much more practical and useful to have a smaller box with about 13 inches of space on each side to use for carrying misc stuff. Tackly boxes, small coolers, etc.

I didnt do them in the bumper because it will eventually be replaced with a custom low profile bumper. i also felt like having them up higher in the tail gate would keep them more out of harms way when im out wheeling and need to back up.

Thanks! it took a lot of talking myself into making the first cut but im happy with the outcome. im surprised i havent seen it more often

It is just three spark plug wires, because the other three are attached to the coil packs. You should still buy spark plugs too.
