How she sits right now. And the brackets are rivited on. Its no biggie now and like i said my co worker is buying the curved bar for the same price i paid for it. So in reality im actually making money off of it the straight bar was cheaper. So more $$$ in my pocket

 

Where are the brackets? I thought you were talking about a roof mount. You're talking about behind the grille?

 

Curved bar behind the grill? Could have just made a mount from scrap for that

 

No i didnt take a pic of the brackets sorry bout that i got called into work. Ill get a pic later. I removed the front for the new hybrid bumper

Any one can help me with installing a basic 5100 w/885 and AAL this weekend? I don't have a garage nor all necessary tools, and most importantly the know how.

Willing to pay someone with bro bucks, hard cash, booze whatever

I'd do it if I could man but gonna be busting ass working on my pile too to wheel Sunday at RC. Also taking a friend with a stock Jeep to the NE property to do greens and maybe some blues depending how we do. Going to camp Saturday night so we can start nice and early Sunday.

 

Dimitri you doing UCA's and is the coilover already assembled?

 

Thanks Mike. I will try to cheap it out and go without UCAs initially and see how it aligns. The coilovers will come assembled from Headstrong OffRoad.

 

If the weather is nice enough I will be doing the same lift on my taco this Sunday coming up. I have the tools the know how not much lol but I'm sure we could figure it out

 

You ordered and have the lift already? Where did you get it from?

I am waiting for Headstrong offroad to get back to me so I can place my order. Will I get it by this weekend.....I doubt it

 

Only difference is yours is assembled mine arent.

 

Yup getting those suckers assembled for additional hunned dollars. Hopefully will make things easier during install

 

I ordered my 5100s from headstrong also and had bought my 885 from another member on here. I'm just waiting on my aal and flip kit to come in.

 

But I'd be doing it in my driveway I have all the tools.

You probably won't need them depending on the setting you have your 5100s at... But it may be helpful to get a good alignment to fit a bigger tire more easily...

I decided not to get mine assembled because I have a second set of stock coils to use the "coil seat" I believe its called instead of paying $75 extra I can do it my self and since I am not really in a total rush I can take my time and learn. Then get the DBs to help install in a weekend since he truck can't be down
