That's funny because our neighbors just got rid of the Samsung for the LG because the dryer kept burning up. I think when it comes to washer and dryers you either get a good set or bad. Brand dosent seem to matter any more like it use to.

No front loaders, not my style, too old to change that now.
I like LG, but I also like Whirlpool and Maytag.
Looks will have a lot to do with it too as this is also potential chick bait. It needs to be as close a match as possible to the dryer. Minimum of 4.0 cubic feet too.

I haven't missed the agitator at all. So much easier to load and unload. It was a concern years ago when I made the change from a regular machine to a HE machine, but hasn't been a problem. Clothes are still clean.

First buffalo chicken dip, then chocolate lava cake discussions, now washing machines. This thread might need to be moved over to the Martha Stewart forums.

Anyone have any insider info on any stocks we can short and score big money?

I have a Kenmore front loader HE machine.

The thing has been a tank for 10 years now. No issues whatsoever.

One exercise I always give Coloradans to try out is replace "snow," "snowing," "rain," and "raining" with "fresh drinking water" or "making fresh drinking water" and see how the sentence sounds.

    :p
