Got a couple more things done today, mostly cleaned up my storage unit but it needed it for sure. Got a clamp where the snorkel meets the stock intake, its a snug fit to begin with but probably needs the clamp over time anyways. Fixed the cv clamp and come to find out the inner boot is torn.... So I guess I need to order new boots and get that shit fixed :(. Hammered my skid plate a little to straighten it out but the 4lb wasn't giving me the results I wanted so Ill just borrow a 16lb from work tomorrow. Got the softopper on for shits and giggles, Kind of finishes off this silver and black theme I got going on.

Also got my panel installed, Really got to get some carpet over the gold sound deadener lol. No plans to paint it just yet since I have some stuff I want to do first

Got the truck all ready for wheel/camping this weekend with @Sacrifice . RTT on and softopper off, all the essentials for camping and wheeling. Should be a good time with 80 degree weather which will be a nice welcome since I've only camped in my RTT in weather between 0-40 degrees haha

Didn't notice hitting it, although I know where it happened. I was laughing at Chris for rubbing his bedside a little, then I noticed mine :bananadead:

Alright my computer is playing nice again, for some reason Photos (mac) keeps closing soon as I open it so I was SOL with getting the photos together.

As usual me and Chris got together since no one else likes to wheel or camp so we went camping and wheeling over at the Flat Nasty. It was 80 degrees sunny and it empty park, It was welcoming after the last badlands trip full of Easter egg hunt goers. Arrived at the park around 11 after a trip to walmart to load up with last minute supplies for the night, Quickly aired down and got on the trail.

[IMG]DSC06291 by Chandler Coe, on Flickr

We stopped for a couple of pictures and both of us flexed the suspension a little to make sure everything was playing together nicely. Flares were looking just fine, you can see that the tire barely rubs knocking the dust and dirt off the tread.

At this point actually posting the pictures I am realizing that I took more videos versus taking pictures, so I apologize and maybe Chris can fill the gaps with some photos he took.

So after making sure everything was good to go, we went ahead and continued down the trail. Both of us quickly noticed that the trails are much tighter than before and scratches are very likely.

Around 1 we decided to go down by the camp sites and have some lunch. At walmart I picked up a Lodge cast iron griddle/grill since the grill I bought doesn't have a grill side. Went ahead and cooked up a burger and after wards trimmed the very bottom of my rear flares as they were getting caught up in the tread just a little.

At this time we kinda had an idea where we wanted to park for the night, so we continued onto another trail we didn't run last time. A rock garden/creekbed with the occasional set of big rocks that made it interesting, as I said before I took mostly video. The trail ended at a group doing some trail service creating a new "black diamond" area so we cut off and went looking for something else.

Now earlier in the day we both kinda decided to take it easy, lets not break anything especially his new drive shaft. Well I found a hard "black diamond" trail that looked doable and he obliged.

[IMG]IMG_1394 by Chandler Coe, on Flickr

In the pictures it doesn't look bad (like always) but the last one gives you an idea how some of the rocks sized up to our 35s. But the trail didn't really have any monster rocks so it looked okay, And I was wrong. I went first (probably since it was my idea) and within 5ft I realized that you have almost zero traction on loose rocks with fine dirt and sand, Even Chris was posted up higher where we knew some spotting would be needed figuring I could make it halfway without issue lol. So after fighting the loose rocks for a bit and creating ruts as I went I finally got to the section that would need some finesse. We battled this spot for a good 30 mins throwing rocks under the tires, re aligning the truck several times, smashing skid plates and the bumper, and of course making the trail much more difficult for Chris to follow. Finally I made it up the ledges and big rocks and kept chugging along until I lost traction again after only 25ft. I told Chris I should be fine the rest of the way knowing that its just gonna take a little bit of fuck it to make it up the hill. Well not far after I stopped was two trees pretty narrow, along with the loose rock I knew I just needed to keep a good pace to make it through.

At this point with the skinny pedal down to the floor with the rear locked trying to swerve through the tight trees I notice my bedside really close to the one tree, no crunch noise so I figured it was fine. After bouncing between more large rocks and adjusting my alightment I made it to flat ground, I parked it and headed down the hill to assist Chris.

Mostly the same deal for him, no traction and chucking rocks. Only difference is where the ledge was it took a bit longer because I completely changed the area after digging all these ruts. Line after line he finally came to a stop with the front pinned on a large rock with both front tires suspended and the rear diff stuck on another rock, no traction either direction. Figured forward was the best option to avoid damage to the 3rd/driveshaft we used the winch to pull him over the rock, worked like a charm and would have been quicker for both of us.

He made a run for the top only getting stopped right after the trees, I noticed he clipped his bedside and kinda laughed about it since last time I took the body damage. He went after it again and it was like a bowling ball with the bumpers up making it to the top. I finally caught up to him and he parked on the other side of me and all I could say was WHAT THE FUCK, after finally noticing my bedside of course

[IMG]DSC06381 by Chandler Coe, on Flickr

Also ripped my jerry can lid off :bananadead:

[IMG]DSC06384 by Chandler Coe, on Flickr

Well after saying a few more colorful words we finished the trail and moved onto some a little easier going.

We decided on a longer easy trail that ran back to the camp site, and it was easy in the beginning. Then it started to get a little interesting and questionable if we were even on the right train anymore. Kept pushing on and finally started a decent around a tight curve and was banked lined with trees, I kept the lower line thinking if I stayed high I would have the possibility of falling over into a tree. Well the tree found me after falling into the bank, closer and closer into this one particular tree.

[IMG]IMG_1399 by Chandler Coe, on Flickr

Well I had no option, forward and backwards kept putting me closer to the tree and finally I had to stop and reconsider after getting that close . After setting the brake and park it inched down a little as I got in only to leave the pillar resting on the tree :bananadead: So with little to no interest in completely losing my bedside and flare we needed to brainstorm a little.

[IMG]IMG_1401 by Chandler Coe, on Flickr
[IMG]IMG_1402 by Chandler Coe, on Flickr

We ran a snatch block over to a near tree to pull my ass end away from the tree, I slowly backed up and re pulled over and over until I was free of the tree. The snatch block was worth its weight in gold at that moment  I chose the high line this time and being careful with the brake I was able to make it down, Chris followed the same line without issue.

So we finally made it to the camp site and got everything setup before sundown, with only a couple of RZRs running around the park it was otherwise nice and peaceful.

Slept pretty good that night with the temp around 60 deg, woke up and made some oatmeal before we both started packing up camp. We then made it up to the entrance to sirup and fill the tires, I took some pictures of our new battlescars

Just spent some time fixing the impact area, I was able to get most of the large dent out but the little ones were a no go, I may have to try a "dent remover". The scratches are really deep and in some areas are down to metal :(

Its safe to say my truck is getting to the point of looking neglected, and it kind of bothers me :anonymous:

Besides what you have for pictures I don't have any of different areas except my mall flexing while we stopped for lunch unfortunately. I have some videos that I'll dig the links to tomorrow.
