    Hi guys,

just wondering what should I expect from a full tank of gas ?
Normal driving like a road trip. 400 miles roughly ?
Any differences between 87 and 91 octane on a full tank ?

    thanks

    375ish comfortably.

410-430 if you are willing to run it dry.

Dash says range is 387 miles every time I fill up. I only use 87.

Higher octane won't make any difference, use that extra few bucks to get regular at the best gas station in town. Top quality fuel will matter, higher octane won't.

Does your throttle just have two positions, on and off? Or are you towing a 4000# trailer everywhere?

9,200 on ODO average 400 miles a tank, 2/3 hi-way driving if I keep between 55 - 60. Do 100 miles a day back and forth to work. Dash says 23mpg average if I behave. If this critter is anything like my Tundra's were, at about 12,000 - 15,000 miles will be broken in and get 500 per tank. Some fast math says 23mpg X 21 gallons should be 483mpg at empty. Have not had the stones to find out what's left when empty light comes on. Tundra's could wring out another 100 miles when light came on.

Easy enough to back into the number.... if you fill up at 400, subtract the gallons you put in from 21. On mine it looks to be about 3 gallons so roughly 60 miles.

I'm sitting at 489 miles, but my next trip will be to the gas station. This tank was ethanol-free.

That's 50 miles more than I got with 10% ethanol. Not sure if it has more to do with the gas, or the engine breaking in some...or a combination. I'm driving a 2wd, 4 cyl btw.

There is a gas station here in Mt Pleasant Tx that called jackson oil.. That's all they carry is Ethanol Free Fuel. You pay for it too. Its higher than the rest in town. But People love it. They travel from towns around to get that fuel because it's better for small motors.
