Man speaks the truth. Stay away from the build section if you don't like spending money.

I am the same way. There are very few vehicles (if any) that hold their value better or last longer though. This purchase will very likely last longer than you will want to drive it.

hah, I felt the same way last month after I bought my '04. Been wanting an older, low mileage, beauty of a first gen for soooo long...finally found the perfect one and nearly walked away from it a few times during negotiations because I just couldn't commit to spending the money (at first). My hesitation actually worked in my favor though as it got the dealer to come down on the price for me lol.

Anyway though, it didn't take long after I brought her home to forget about the money...I freakin love my Tacoma. Money is just money, you'll make more of it. Might as well use some of it to make yourself happy!

I tend to do that with everthing I buy.. I spend a whole bunch of money on it so that its not worth trying to sell it. I recently spent a ton on my last ride adding a supercharger, cam, meth, tunes, and a few other little things.. Same with my 4 wheeler, motorcycle, guns.. Etc. I cant leave stuff alone, and end up having more money in mods than what stuff is anywhere near worth. Its not good business. Heres my old ride.
