Well, I'm a day late, but Happy Birthday Mike!

60? That's nothing. Wait till 65 when you can deal with Medicare, Social Security, Pension, etc.. What a chore!

Mike, do they still have those foreign motors with low miles for a R&R? Would that be cheaper for the guy?

They can still get bone yard engines but they cost a lot and have higher milage.

Thanks, I see. Supposedly you could get a engine from Japan that had low miles due to their stricter regs. Cheap unless you had to pay a shop to do all the work. My old LUV, I had a friend help rebuild the engine, I R&R it.

    Evening all:
Did a first partial mowing today, well more like a chop up leaf day. Supposed to rain for the next 4 out of 5 days, so I figured I better get it done before it gets out of control and is too wet to mow down front.

Was going to ask Duane a question, but stumbled onto the answer in the meantime.
Here goes anyway! Do you know where you can you get the burner screen for a Coleman focus 5?
I found a guy on IceShanty and WalleyeCentral that supposedly can rebuild them better than the original, any knowledge of this or a place to get them?
I use this heater on the boat and consider it to be an excellent heater, it's still working, but stuff like that is good to know since Coleman no longer sells the parts to repair them.

Can ask over on the Coleman Collectors Forum. They also have a section to buy or sell stuff, mostly stove or lantern oriented. For parts, check out the sponsor, Old Coleman Parts. There is a link there at the top of the page.

I'll settle for my Z3. :) It's a 20 year old '96 but still makes me smile every time I get behind the wheel.

Good morning all, good luck hunting. Turkeys are slowly coming into my area of CA. If we had a good snow year, I'm sure they would disappear if they don't migrate to lower elevations in those times. Not sure where I live if there is a hunting season for them, or just in other areas of the county if they have a high enough population there. Seems one vet had hunted them a few years ago where they could be taken.

Never had the money for a more refined vehicle. Usually have to settle for sensible. There was that '92 CBR600 F2 :), had it up to over 100 mph on mountain roads briefly. While financing H-D's, I had to settle for a Kawa KLR650. Gets me there. I had the Honda CBR600 for about 10 years, I was not even close to being a average rider on it, just didn't have the ballz to ride it hard. Just fun to ride but hard on my neck.

Got my vinyl inserts for the tailgate and dash installed yesterday, finally got up to installation temperatures. They are those black, reflective ones that show up as whitish at night with light on them. Black on the tailgate and blue ones for the glove box. Don't think the glove box ones are reflective, not sure. Crawled under the truck to replace the fuel tank straps for ones with threaded studs so I could install my fuel tank skid plate. Had to use a jack to convince it to fit well enough to get nuts started on the studs.
Back was killing me, so after all that, saw the chiropractor, so have limited duties for a few days, try to let my back settle a little. Not good, have to get some raised beds for my garden done, may have to hire someone to shovel dirt into them so I can start potatoes. Need to get some tomatoes to transplant next week, my starts inside have done poorly, same as my pepper starts.

    Afternoon all:
No turkey; heard one gobble from the roost early, and later while calling had one gobble back from out in the field. No takers though to the lovesick hen calls I was making. :pout:
