You should consider a hitch mounted bed extender to support the rear. You could really damage your kayaks transporting them that way.

I have mine on order. Playing the waiting game. Let's see some pic when you get them installed. Are you going black or getting them painted?

I was quoted $320 to paint. I'm 50/50 on the paint.

Yep. It's like this truck and boat were made for each other. Only caught 4 small bream this evening but had a blast in the new little boat. 40lb thrust troller is plenty to get this Joker moving nicely..... I'm thinking the kayaks might be neglected for a while.

Where are you getting the power from for the bar? Also, what about going through the FW? Is there a write up on all this? Thanks

Nice, with a troller and boat, if you don't mind, how much did they run!

The easiest way is to buy this set I have for sale, sell your stock lights on eBay and break even. No melted headlights, no downtime for your truck.

If, however, you're a deadset DIYer like me, I've posted about my experience in several threads regarding BHLM, HID retrofits, etc. You could have yourself a fun scavenger hunt. Or take the easy route and just look up my recent posts.

The basics include popping them in the oven at 240 for 12 minutes initially, then 8 minutes on subsequent trips. Work a slotted screwdriver between the sealant and the outside edge of the housing for several inches, then get behind the sealant and wedge the lens off. I found the lower/inside corner the easiest place to start. Try not to destroy any mounting tabs in the process.

    Good luck.

I don't mind at all bro, the boat was 696, but really 835 after shipping. Got it from directboats.com. it's the Bass hunter EX.

Got the troller off Amazon, minn kita endura C2 40, it was 159 shipped. I also got the minn kota power center to hold the battery, another 50 bucks, not necessary but I'm glad i got it too. Makes things easier and i like the built in battery display and 12 volt accessory spots... Will come in handy using lights for night fishing.

Awesome boat. I have no issues standing and fishing, bow fishing for gar etc. And 2 people fit with gear. We can switch seats without worry of tipping the boat or falling over.

Another plus... Standing to piss... If you kayak fish, and also drink beer... Stopping to piss can get time consuming or become a hassle.. No longer.

Got around to doing the air dam delete and mounted my front plate on a piano hinge under the bumper, now to wait for the dealer to get another BBP Taco in stock so they can swap out my front valence for one without screw holes

Ha! Asked my dealer for no front license drilling, lube the u-joints, torque the u-bolts, check/fill front & rear diffs, t-case & MT and no dealer badge

Sales guy put the front plate on with double stick tape to get me the inspection sticker. One out of eight ain't bad :bananadance:
