I have not. I was interested in removing the mess on the rear frame rail and found that valve. Just haven't done it yet. That company specializes in Toyota so it should work.

Has anybody installed the sPod Universal kit? I got the standard 6 switch panel. I'm curious where you mounted your switch panel. Thanks!

Is this all that's needed?. A few right ups mentioned it was a pain in the ass to go from NPT to stock fittings. 1 st gens have 10mm flare nuts I think?

Monte, Old Brett @BDN ... explain how that works for me please.

I'm still not sure my BPV is functioning properly. Whether it be the thing shit the bed when it was dry for years or I don't have the post-lift bracket adjust properly.

This mechanism looks like a simple replacement. Just curious how it works.

The factory BPV uses spring height (basically) to determine how much braking is in the rear. It adjusts braking by how much weight you have in the bed.

With the in line valve, you set it to a certain proportion (say 65/35) and that's it.

Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of a BPV? It shouldn't be a static proportion/ratio.

Or does the inline valve somehow adjust to weight in the bed also?

That BPV is not normal or standard on all vehicles. Most come from the factory with a set, non adjustable, bias.
However there is some re-plumbing of the BPV in order to use the valve as there are two lines going to the rear, and we only need one.
Mine doesn't work either, it's frozen but is allowing some rear brake action at the moment.
I may get to it this summer.

That's what I did when I wrecked...went airborne...but my spindles/uca hit my wheel well and the ball joint bolt put a whole through my wheel well lol I was impressed with OME suspension and how it performed in that situation lol. That's suspension is now on the new truck still in use. Testimonial for OME! :D

Your are correct, in that disconnecting only one end of the sway bar effectively gives you the articulation benefit. I initially did that years ago, and found out that the disconnected end was banging into the LCA when flexing. I was a bit nervous about leaving it that way. So instead of 5 minutes, it takes me about 10 minutes :D

Its possible that some grinding on that end of the sway bar would have corrected it, but I didn't know how much to grind, and didn't want to weaken the bar for when I occasionally reconnect it.

If you have a fully loaded down Expo vehicle the trick is keeping all four on the ground in the first place. That's the whole reason we mess with our suspension, at least those of us that aren't desert prerunners.
