Anyone got an SWR meter around Gainesville area? Called a few shops and no one will offer it as a service.

Awesome- the girlfriend's parents live in Marietta, 30066 so next time we head that way I could meet up. Gotta run the dang cable first. I dont have a crimp tool and got a pre-built cable so I'm debating what I'm going to do to run it into the cab. My preference is driver side floor grommet but without a crimp tool..

Also- anyone know a good place to calibrate my ultragauge? A straight stretch of road that has measured mile markers that isn't a major interstate I can stop in the middle of?

My work and school are 30067. So just let me know. I know ours are different but I ran mine through the grommet in my cab and its worked fine

I slit my grommet (different grommet but should still work for the floor one) a little and forced the Co-ax cable through. We may be doing completely different things

Tires, soon to be shocks, bushings, and bull bar. No lift, not needed.
What area did you go camping in? That looks like an easy trail

If you were closer, I would be happy to lend a hand. The installation isn't too difficult to do.

If you weren't up in Bumfuck, Egypt, I'd help ya. There's nothing to it if you've got a spring compressor or if the springs come pre-installed on the shock. Did you get in the group buy? If so, did you get the whole leaf pack? I've only done AAL installs, which are super easy. Not too sure about replacing the whole leaf pack.

Also, a 6 pack?! That's barely enough for me to get all my tools laid out!

I got the leaf pack- I didnt' do the group buy, I was signed up for it but Marie at Head Strong was so helpful and the UCA cost so much less than Low Range that there was only a $80 difference AND Head Strong had a 50% off the strut assembly not to mention I will get my stuff next week as opposed to 8-10 weeks from the group buy.

That being said I am getting them assembled however I want to paint the struts so I'm going to go get a spring compressor from O'reilly's (free rental) and take apart and put back together. Glad I'm getting the assembly though because Head Strong doesn't charge for the actual assembly only the new top hats.

My concern with the project is really just lifting the new leaf packs up into place at ~70# a piece, not to mention just someone to shoot the shit with.
