I have a 2013 Tacoma trd double cab long bed. I have been doing tons of research and I need to be pointed in the right direction. I don't intend to do any off roading at all and just want to lift my truck about 2-2.5 inches to accommodate bigger tires and rims. I have read that a spacer lift is sufficient for my intened use. But ive also read that spacer lifts are a bad idea. any advice is appreciated. thanks

I've also read that mantrac spindle lift might be a great option for me. I want a lift where I won't need to upgrade my Uca

If you don't gobover 2 inches you won't need uca's. I did uca's for better movement up front. Spindles work well but I didn't want to go 4 inches up front. I was only looking for 2 1/2.

If I go with the maxtrac spindles how should I lift the rear so my truck is level. The maxtrac says I get 4 inches up front with their kit

I didn't want that much lift and did not want to lift the rear. That's why I didn't use spindles. To lift the rear you can use blocks,AAL,it new leaf packs.

I don't off road much. Got a 2" ProComp spacer lift. The ride was about the same after the lift when the suspension was new. Now after 100,000 miles, not so much. Very rough. Can't wait to upgrade. So if you have some miles on your current suspension, I would replace the shocks and coils, and do an AAL.
