Lots of rumors about those 2 things. It's possible. I don't think it's going to be standard on all models but I could see it being in part of a package. More competition in the market is usually a win for the consumer. I say usually because they can always jack the price up a little. Even though competition usually drops it a little

nope, they would have been listed with the 2017 TRD PRO. Those were not listed.

and the rear window and power seat would be more than 300 dollars

You guys hoping for immediate fixes to issues in 2017 are getting their hopes up.

Toyota is slow going when it comes to fixing issues in later model years. They usually wait 3-4 years or until the mid-cycle refresh to "fix" any issues. This is coming from an FJ and Land Cruiser owner.

Most aren't wanting platform changes. It's a given no major changes will occur after one year of production. Most people are just wanting their trucks to be shipped with proper fluid levels and a truck that works. Not too much to ask for.

Spot on! Toyotas track record proves that these issues will take some time to get worked out & recognized by Toyota corporate. I doubt that they will even introduce a new color for next year other than the Cement color which is to be specific to the Pro. Being I have owned a Tacoma in the past and knowing Toyotas track record is why I had no issues buying a 2016 rather than wait on a 2017. The power rear window and drivers seat is likely a pipe dream for this generation. Toyota knows the Tacoma will hold it's own against the competition and we will all continue to line up to buy them. Maybe we will see those options in the 4th gen. lol

Was at the Dealership today to put a deposit on a 2017 TRD Pro. There was some confusion and everyone there had something to say about the Pro. Was not able to leave my deposit and left with them telling me they would call me back when they had more information. The call back didn't take long and was told that Toyota was not taking order untill June 20th.

I went to the dealership to check up on the order I placed February 15. I wanted to make sure when they placed their 2017 orders my Cement manual pro was included. The manager said he wouldn't be placing orders until August! but that I could expect a call from Toyota because they were checking up with customers because dealerships were placing too many orders for pro's they hadn't sold.

Not sure I know what to make of that.

This site information is misleading. It appears that 2017 fleet trucks can be ordered in May. In talking to dealers they are telling me Toyota will be taking 2017 orders sometime in August or September for the general public

What I'm wondering is how toyota knew that dealers were placing orders for unsold pro's and saying they had an order from the consumer if they can't even place orders yet.

They don't know the price yet. I'm not that worried of the cost knowing it is well with in my price range.

I believe something will be happening to the rear glass on some 2017 models. No idea what that will be yet (basing this on the parts catalog, doesn't always mean much). Nothing showing on the seat at all yet, but again that doesn't always mean much.
