So recently I ordered new door speakers for all 4 doors from *********. I got the Image Dynamics CTX65CS kit for up front and the Image Dynamics CTX65 Coaxial speaker kit for the rear. Man these speakers are sooooooooo much beefier construction than the paper thin stock speakers. After I installed everything (sorry I don't have pictures) I was very impressed with the sound quality. I still have a little tuning to do on my amp but overall I'm very pleased with everything!! ********* makes awesome adapters to fit the aftermarket speakers into the stock location! Made for an extremely easy install!

When I ordered I had the pleasure of dealing with Josh @tacotunesJosh

He informed me when my order was shipping and they had my order shipped to me super quick, like 2 or 3 days. I had some questions regarding install and also asked for some help finding an amp that fit my budget. Josh responded to all of my jnquiries super quickly and gave me a lot of valuable insight.

If anyone is questioning going through ********* for their audio upgrades, don't hesitate because they are awesome. I'd recommend them to anyone with a Tacoma in need of a better system.

    Thanks again *********!!

Glad to hear you went with Image Dynamics. Had a 10" IDq sub in highschool (still have it 13 years later) that bumped harder than a lot of my friends 12" subs so I now have a soft spot for ID products.

Question, hooking up the speakers themselves to existing wiring... is it just plug n' play or do you need to splice in new connectors?

Either wire in new appliance lugs for the speakers or get the adapters made by Metra. They connect to the existing harness and have speaker connectors at the other end.
    I got some off Amazon.
