Update on the clutch: bought all the parts and drop them and the truck off at the garage that did the labor for me the last 98,000+ miles ago. They did it all in one day, awesome! As it turns out the throw out bearing seized up, then broke into two parts. Wearing a small gruve in the input shaft caller. They were able to smooth it out, saving me lots more money. Like the bellhousing, or worse transmission. The bad part is I get to hear the bearing a little bit. But the truck has 232,000+ miles, so I can deal with that.

I learned how to change the clutch without removing the transmission or exhaust.

Thank you to all who offered to lean a hand and or tools.

Any specific diff fluid you recommend? I haven't flushed mine before, but I definitely want to do it if it's easier at the time, and I just hit 116k miles haha.

I also want to retrofit or do something beyond the stock headlights, especially since mine are getting moisture in them and looking bad. I haven't even done BHLM lol.

I think when I go up there I'm going to see if I can find any good fishing spots.

I'm about to take a 13hr trip out to Port Aransas, Tx tomorrow morning and got 1 CV boot torn. Yall think if I just grease it and keep an eye on it that it will be good. Never really dealt with CV boots or had to replace them so not to knowledgeable in that area but do plan on changing them in the near future.

Unfortunately you can't ride on the beaches in either of those towns. I have however seen trails that turn off of Ft. Morgan road but have no idea if that is private lands or public.

Are you supplying the complete assembly or do you need our headlights to do it?

I can build them either way, if you want me to use your stocks then I can (and it is cheaper that way). If you want me to build in a new pair then I can order some. The prices listed are for aftermarket headlights, not OEM.

I also have a pair of used aftermarket 05-11 headlights right now, they are in excellent condition. I can build in those for a reduced price, or use them as a loner pair while I build in your stocks.

    Welcome to the thread!

Sadly, that would still be $900.00 for me. Far more than I'm willing to spend on a set of headlights.

I want to do some as well, I have about convinced myself to do it. I figure if I am going to open them up I want to do everything at once, bhlm, retros, and demon eyes.

If I build in your stocks it will be about $250 cheaper. Anyway, retros are an expensive mod mainly for the components (headlights, projectors, etc.) that go into building them. The light output of projectors are way better than stock, which make the mod worth it!

Yes, but if I used my stock headlights; how long would I be without headlights?

I will soon have an extra set of stock 12-15 headlights. So you could use those, or I could build in the stocks I have and then you can sell me yours, or sell them on here also.

The trucks look really similar, rims and color. If he was basing his truck off a certain build then they could be almost twins.
