Ok so inserting it backwards doesn't short it out..... touching the wrong part of the housing shorts it out?

So your math is telling us that the larger the tire the better the mpg.... Which in the real world is quite the opposite. I think we need to factor in the rotational mass of the given tire and rim combo. Harder the engine has to work to rotate that wheel will in fact lower your mpg. Unless the combo has less rotating mass which if it weighed less and the vehicle could travel further on in one revolution of the tire, then yes the mpgs will go up.

Yeah, you very well could be right about them not being centered. I'm getting wobble/vibration 50mph and up. I'll report back after I get them rebalanced.

I think it ran about $1100. Then if you add UCA's those run about $450.

4D Caliraised. Very tight beam. I had to make adjustments to get it aimed right.

Love the Bushwackers! Any way you can take some closer pictures on how they mount and are the bolts fake or do you actually drill all of the holes? I like the added coverage they give.

It isn't a matter of fuel mileage so much as it is a matter of actually traveling a farther given distance than the odometer would report. You are actually going a further distance because the circumference of the tire is more and if you calculate your fuel usage based on these numbers, it will show the actual fuel mileage. Larger tires (often) do cause worse mileage for the reasons that you state. I only am showing how to compute mileage (not better mileage) based on the tire size. Comprende Kimosabe?

Bolts are just cosmetic. No drilling required. Mounts to the factory flare locations.

    Factory bolt locations used.

I had to trim the fronts quite a bit to work with the Expedition One front bumper.

Thanks for the pictures! I'm assuming they came with the necessary weather stripping as well. Keep up the great work on the truck!

10-4! All weather stripping and hardware is supplied with the flares. They even included a weather stripping tool to aid with the install.
