I have a couple videos that I will upload later tonight when I get home, it was a pretty small deal but I'm glad I was able to be there and see it

Wow, that looks cool. Not sure if I'll be up for Alaska flying. The Bahamas sound more appealing to me!

For me, corporate/family/private/business//medical/91/135 is all the same. I work for a charter company and they just tell me where to go and when to be there. Some is for family vacations (not the owners of the jets), some for business, owners (91), medical transport, etc...... all the same to me. I just use the word corporate as a general term for all of those types.

Working for one family sounds pretty interesting. Especially if they have your well being in mind. I have heard of some really great jobs out there for individual families, but those are hard to come by.

And I totally agree with you that hotel points are great. My wife and I have really enjoyed that perk thus far.

I feel like I should know this by now...but what kind of flying do you do?

OV-10 Broncos are exclusively by Cal Fire and CDF fire crews and used as spotter aircraft for the big evergreen air DC-10 fire fighting aircraft

What I like is watching the flight path towards Ft Irwin or MCAGCC 29 Palms like yesterday @ 1500 hrs . I heard a familiar noise of rotor chop so look up in the NW sky at and see (6) AH-1 Cobras and (2) UH-1Y Venoms flying in formation on a flight path headed towards Camp Pendleton

... ^^^ ... Thanks for posting that link ... first time that I have ever seen that link.

I believe that it was my buddy (SR) who actually found that DC-3 aircraft and flew it back. He was with Delta a long time (maybe flew 757s ?? at the end) and SR was from Puerto Rico, and didn't care if someone else got the credit for what he did. I think his mom took his body back to PR to be buried. SR & JB (747 United pilot) shared the same bachelor pad on Riverside Drive in Atlanta (SR's house). Big house with tennis courts and pool (kind of a Jr. Playboy Mansion). Every year, they would have the biggest private Halloween party in Atlanta. 1000+ people at their house by invitation only. $20.00 bucks a head with all profits going to charity or to help pay for that Delta DC-3. Wild and crazy parties (food, beer, prizes, music & beautiful women) and about 5 of of us worked at those parties to keep things running smoothly (no fights ever). Had some of the best times of my life at those parties. I was the only rotary guy there and several of the commercial guys went into rotary later for fun. SR even bought a R-44 and I joked him to never crash a helicopter in the jungle in SEAsia. Who would ever thought that he would be CoPlt. and crash in the jungles along Brazilian border. Had some crazy stuff happen in my life that I don't even believe was real.
