$440 isn't bad, but I am sure shipping to co would be brutal.

Shipping would be at least a couple hundred. Nice bumper though

Why do these pop up after I spend money on something else

It's so nice having a bed now. I loved my 4runner, but our suitcases and a few random items filled the cargo area of the 4runner. This last trip I had all of our suitcases, power wheels jeep, jog stroller, beach stuff and disc golf basket/discs, with plenty of room to spare. Plus having the roll down rear window makes it pretty much the same access as in my 4runner.

Wow, Cali is overly strict. I've been riding shotgun for a long time. At least ten years (I'm 18)

Yeah same here. It depends more on weight. I forgot what the restrictions are. Pretty sure they are similar cross country.

Yeah I've got the wife and soon another daughter so I'm full on every trip. That's one of the reasons I sold the 4runner, trips were becoming so cramped and I wanted the extra room in the backseat. It was brutal with 2 carseats and an adult in the back seat. Plus I have a V8 and get around the same mileage as my 4runner. haha

Same here, dad had a toyota pickup with a camper on it. We would constantly hang out in the back as we drove around. I will say though I would never let my daughter do that, one wrong driver and it can get ugly. I don't care if I have to keep her in a carseat or the back seat till she's 14 as long as she is safe.

Yeah I know it's a height and weight issue, but not sure the exact numbers either, so basically my daughter is screwed. She is the smallest kid in her class and doesn't seem to be hitting any major growth spurts anytime soon.

There are a lot of little kids who ride around in the front seat without a belt around here. Usually the parent is texting. The police don't seem to care.

I would rather have the laws to protect the kids, even if their parents are morons.

I was a tall kid. Then I was a short Elementary school kid, then I was a short middle school kid. Then I was one of the taller kids at my high school. Now I am taller than most people. It will happen.

We will see, my wife is 5'1" and 110 and I'm 6'1" 220 so we have a lot of variance between the two of us. Doesn't help she was a premie and 3.5 lbs at birth.

Yeah my daughter is 5 1/2 and 42" and 36 lbs, so she is tiny. She still loves the back seat, especially in the Tundra since it has a TV. Don't see her wanting to lose that perk anytime soon.

Ehh it wasn't that bad. Rutledge just doesn't know how to pick his lines.
Lesson of the day, don't spend money
That's the way to do it. My mom always made me sit in the back and I hated it. Never enjoyed sitting back there. My real dad on the other hand had an old LX470 with the third row and I loved sitting back there. Would do it long after I was tall enough to sit up front. Back there I had my own climate controls, a little storage pocket where I kept a secret stash of candy, and I had enough legroom to the point where if I put the chair's back all the way down It was like I was laying down. Great for long distances.

Wife wanted something different and I wanted a toy. Just so happened my buddy was selling his SC'd 3rd gen and I hopped on it with a quickness. Everything was stock and well maintained with all original receipts. Perfect rig to learn and play with.

Finished my Antenna mount today and painted it. Not gonna say it's pretty, but I like it.
