Sad. It happened right it front of his house. Lady was supposedly speeding and drunk. Never stopped.

Yea that's what the news article said too... The shetty thing is that she left the scene, failed to render aide... That right there is the difference between the judge seeing you made a bad mistake that you are very sorry for, or seeing you as a killer without remorse... It could be the difference between negligent homicide vs vehicular manslaughter ... I feel for that mans family, he was so young

brah, good on you, I'd cruise if I was still there. this was the younger brother of a guy I surfed with once in a while, and my niece's good friend from KS. really fucked up that the girl left the scene, but she was caught, and subsequently released pending investigation.

check out "kowherzzzzz" on IG. pretty heavy stuff. all happened right in front their houses and he held his little bro for his last breath.

From what I heard from the boys... She fled the scene, and her car broke down a ways down the road. She called a tow truck and police showed up sometime and arrested her... Perhaps she was followed when she left the scene and when she broke down they stayed back in the shadows and called hpd... Idk what really happened but you know what I do know... Even if it was an accident that happened, it is no longer punishable as an accident if you choose to leave the scene...

that's right. she got three strikes against her: drunk, speeding, leaving the scene. allegedly Kaulana wasn't in a marked crosswalk, but now I'm not sure how much that's gonna matter.

It shouldn't... Even outside of a crosswalk you should be aware of your surroundings...

 

i had it before on Hickam, but I stopped going there as they gouged my rims when they took off the weights...didn't own up to anything...found out later they have a lot of complaints on BBB and stuff..they only care about turning cars.

I might have to get with Nate and start doing my own alignments.

I actually don't remember when my last alignment was after getting recon...prior to recon I went to Rex Tire when they still worked on Toyota's...but now they have a contract for Subaru

 

I can't do the cruise but I feel bad for the family. Since you'll be there, please extend the Aloha in his memory. From one Kamehameha Alumni to another...Imua.

 

Next project Tundra illuminated 4WD switch. Looks to be about the same dimension as the current switch, but not 100% it'll just swap right in. Won't know till I get it physically test fitted. Thought about the 4Runner switch but it looked to clunky.





Current switch also has 5 pins, hopefully it'll be just plug and play minus running some wires for the illumination.

 

Totally off "forum" but do any of you guys have VCDS (VAG COM) for a VW? Gonna put a backup cam in the wife's GTI and gonna need it to be coded
