They only bolt-in inside the wheel wells where the splash shield is held into place. They do not bolt anywhere on the fenders themselves. Therefore, the SR's shouldn't be an issue. Should work great.

This is how we solved our rubbing with the OEM mud guards...

Added a bolt with washer on the inside. Pulls in the mud guard just tight enough to stop the rub.

Sorry fellas, been busy working plus haven't had much to update.

For those not following I posted last week that during testing, K&N damaged the MAF sensor (or wire) and had to order a replacement. This was a dealer part not a generic from VatoZone. Today they received the replacement part and the truck is scheduled to be returned to me tomorrow.

As far as dyno, still haven't heard any. They might give me the dyno sheet that tends to come with new K&N intake systems. I will update tomorrow at some point.

    Thanks for your patience.

The color match looks perfect. I'm really liking the look and fit of the ARE tops. If you don't mind me asking how much did that set you back?

I was told that they wont release dyno sheets to the public until the product is either released, or new released. But, if you are able to share with everyone, please do, since I was specifically asked not to.

Have you driven yours with the intake on? And how is the induction noise between 3k and 4k rpm with the open filter?

I haven't heard that yet. My communication is limited with the K&N techs as I have to go through a friend to get updates. I am scheduled to have the truck back tomorrow and be able to drive it for the first time since they picked it up 9 days ago.

Ah okay.. I am working directly with their R&D guys, who have been awesome, but did ask that I not say anything about the numbers until given the thumbs up.. Surprised that they have had your truck for so long. But, if you hear and are able to to say what they achieved, please do so.. I really wish I could.

Seat of the pants feeling is good though!

Ya you really have to be careful of covers that say they are a direct fit and "look like factory". I'm working on a 57 bel air right now that the guy got covers for online and I've been able to make them look presentable, but that's about it. The wrinkles from being shipped in a box won't come out and they are all too loose. But that's what he wants and he's paying me to do it! Could you post some more pics of you clazzios? I've actually been thinking of getting some vinyl or leather for mine and I really want to see the quality. I'd rather see them in person, but this may have to do.
