Are these stock wheels any good

I just bought a 2013 DCLB 4x4 Sport. I'd like to know where these wheels fall on the spectrum of wheels. I mostly drive on the road, and it's a DCLB anyhow, so it's not really suited for serious off road, but I do like to drive at the beach, and occasionally on a rough trail. I understand that a 16" with a higher sidewall would be better for offloading (these are 17"), but I like the better cornering of a 17" wheel.

Are they wholly unsuited for offload, because they might chip easily on a rock, or just have a bad exposure profile, or bad strength? I really know nothing about wheels.

If I decide to sell them, how much can I get for them, and what would a decent set of 16 or 17 all black offroad-suited wheels cost me?

    Thanks!

Kinda like my ex-wife. Too many cracks and crevices to clean.

Can't really tell what tires you have, but Craigslist is starting to show 16 TRD OR & Sport wheels and tires at some pretty good prices...you might be able to pick up a set and sell those...agree with the above, those are pretty gaudy wheels...and not stock Toyota. Toyota does have well made stock alloy wheels.

I looked on Raleigh CL, and saw a lot of Tacoma wheel pulls. Some even had decent tires. But, they were all pure silver color, and I like black. After a minute of staring at my current wheels, I realized how to turn down the "street" look. Twelve hex screws later, and I'm pretty satisfied. I may buy black caps if the dirt becomes a problem, but for now I'm just happy not to have to spend any more money.
